You will notice with most of their tools, they are of a better quality. Like their ratchets have finer teeth so you can get that 1 or 2 clicks in a really tight space whereas you might not be able to get even 1 with another brand. Also, their socket sets and wrenches are tougher whereas they don't flex while you are turning a bolt which eliminates stripping a bolt or (slipping) off of the bolt.
But 99.5% of the people here would never need snap on, hell... I don't even use all snap on.
While I will agree of what he said. I have 3 snap-on drives. Very good drives for stuff that needs to go on. I would never break a bolt loose with them. I broke one. They have finer teeth, but they aren't as tough as craftsmen.
The sockets though... You can go with the craftsmen laser cut 6 points. They fit just as good as anything on the market. I had an entire metric set at one point. I lost a few but I still have the important ones. 10/12/14/17/19 mm ones.
I guess the no longer offer the laser cut ones.... they had the big numbers like these... But these say nothing about laser cut.
