So we all have our sob stories, and we all have our times when we are in need, but there is an individual here, a friend, who has fallen on difficult times and could truly use some help. For some of you, it could be a grace, and for others a convenient help. Either way, I'm turning to the DSM community for this, one which has already given so much.

The man's name is Justin. He is currently struggling to obtain a running vehicle, support himself and his mother, maintain his job which he walks daily across town to, as well as locate another. You may know him as the individual who lost his 240 which he had saved up and scraped money together for to get running and had it towed due to a situation with blowing a tire and pulling on to farmers property, but that is an entirely different situation we will not go into as he is currently dealing with that issue separately. This person has helped me multiple times with working on and repairing vehicles. I also went to school with him and we have a bit of history together, so it's not like this is a complete stranger.

Not long ago, I came into the possession of a 1G which needed some minor work.Upon losing his 240, I donated this vehicle to him as well as many other parts he needed. (And for Matt, if you're reading, this is not the Talon. ) Sadly I did not have them all. He is missing various stock parts to get this vehicle running which will provide him with a reliable way to work and help him out a great deal. If ANYONE is able to donate any parts, anything, or even offer them very cheaply then I will purchase them for him myself. None of this is in my interest and I gain nothing from this - I'm simply looking to help out a struggling individual who has too much on his plate and needs a hand. So, if you have any of the below listed parts just sitting and collecting dust, please inform me here or PM me if you wish to remain anonymous. If you have an issue with this post, please PM me personally, I don't wish to derail this. He is a DSMer and deserves to be back in one.

Stock Intercooler Piping (Can make Hardpiping Work)

This is all I can think of which is major that is needed. I have already provided him with a Turbo, Manifold, and several other major things. A local couple supplied him a replacement tune-up kit (Fluids and Oil Filter), so that is taken care of. But this is it, things that a lot of us simply overlook or throw away. I know that there are those of us here who just have this sitting around that we have forgotten about, so if you find it in you, I urge you to assist if you can. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't worth it - Trust me, I'm hardly one to take others' problems on for myself....but this is a special situation. Even a "good luck" would be appreciated, and I'm sure this will be a major surprise for him as he has no clue about it.

Let me dig through my garage over the weekend. I believe I had a low mileage clutch....maybe a fuel rail, and tons of vacuum line. Just not sure what got thrown in the move. I'll get in touch with you if I got anything, but otherwise I hope others are willing to help as well. Good luck with everything!

I have a fuel pump out of a 2G GST that I have no need for, will that work?

I have some intercooler piping I will go through it tomarrow im sure we can make work, also have a fuel pump Ill check it out.

I have some parts that I would like to donate. Pay shipping for a flat rate box and I will include everthing I can in one box. Stuff I know have is listed below. I have absolutely no need for these parts as they are extras of extras. If you can re-sell some of this stuff and help him out go for it.

Lots of vacuum hose of various lengths.
2 Coil Packs, will provide pictures, I know one of them is a 1g
Low intercooler pipe for 1g
Various Hose clamps.
Throttle Position sensor 1g.
J-Pipe with nipple for stock 1g turbo, stock side mount.
Might have a spare alternator.
Spare starter.
Turbo to manifold gasket
Vacuum Caps.

I have some other random stuff at the shop I will go through my dsm parts and look for what I have that will fit in a large flat rate USPS box. Just let me know via PM if you need any of this stuff.

I'll donate money to purchase a fuel filter if needed.

I have a 4 puck clutch disk if you can use it.

I got a stock 1g intercooler and most of the stock piping with a crushed bov just pm me if you need it. I'll let it go for free

I have a couple stock 2g fuel pumps if needed and if it works in a 1g. Also have a stock pressure plate. PM me if that helps.

I have a good 2g fuel filter if that would work.

Holy Crap, I go to sleep at around 12:45ish after typing that, get to work this morning at 8:00AM sharp, and see this. You guys are making me all giddy inside. Seriously, though, I appreciate all of the gracious helpfulness presented here and I'll need to scroll back up and make out a short list. I don't want to receive more than what's needed, and if it comes to that then I'm going to sort it out so that he'll have replacement parts for the vehicle. I'm having the vehicle towed to my house soon for, as I told him, 'to check the body out closer and see if I can lend him a hand with the suspension'. Little does he know, the suspension is upgraded already, slapped on by the previous owner. During this time I hope to get everything here, together, and get it broken in without him noticing. It'll be difficult but I believe I can do it. Then, once it's good to go, show up with his new car. pictures will be taken.

So I'm just going to go from the top of the list here and cross out what's now taken care of with the persons' name beside the needed part. I'll be sending out PM's shortly.

If multiple items were listed from a single person then I'd like to reduce shipping cost as much as possible and get those items from that person. With the clutch I don't want to take a chance on that, so if anyone has anything clutch related laying around, I'm going to be contacting you if you let me know. I'm personally ordering him the TOB as well as a Slave Cylinder, so those aren't needed.

So far I think that is everything needed. I CERTAINLY think we have the stock clutch thing taken care of for right now, unless.. they show up and are destroyed during shipping. Lol. If you feel that you have something that you just want to get rid of but you don't know if it's needed, go ahead and send it. I'm sure that we can find a use for it for him or at least have it around if something breaks, even if it's not listed here. Someone locally has already spoken to the local exhaust shop and they have hooked him up with a custom exhaust job once the car is running. This is shaping up amazingly.
