We made it into Wyoming. Still truckin' along. Got some dinner and more fuel and we're off again!

Here are a few scenery shots from Utah, some "bare essentials", and Little Joe crashed out as usual! Haha!

Yea little Joe has the right idea! Have a safe trip guys! I wouldn't be able to last that drive with the climate changes and all. I'd be sick

Wish I could go on a trip like this. Heck, I live not even 2hrs away and i cant make it

17 1/2 hours into our trip and just made it into Nebraska... yet another boring state. 1200 miles down, 1200 more to go

that white dot on your map is strangely close to normal IL. Are you guys going to make a stop to pay tribute to the dsm gods at the holyist of places?

hahaha its probably just a coincidence. Good luck and be safe.

Good morning everyone! We survived the night! We are now in Omaha, NE! 760 miles to go! 24 hours down, estimated 13 or 14 more hours to go!

Good luck guys. Look forward to your progress posts each day. :D Will you be making them while at the shootout?

That's a sick drive. There's no way that I would survive that long of a trip, especially pulling a trailer like that in a truck that drinks fuel like that. Hahah.

Have a safe trip guys. ;) Keep those pictures coming!

Just got out of Des Moines, IA. We've been making amazing time. At this rate we should be into Milan around 7 or 8pm tonight.

Yeah we drove through the night. Im not sure how much time Im going to have to update these threads during the events but ill try to at least update a bit. If not, definitely on our way back Sunday night.

We're well into Illinois now. I thought some of you would like this picture...

Back to the beginning where this whole obsession began! Normal, IL!

Made it out of traffic on I-80 south of Chicago. 250 miles to go. All gassed up for the final stretch! Should make it to the Motel 6 in Milan around 9pm or so local time. Almost there!

Wow, I didn't know you could find it below 87.WTF
Back in the day I can remember local Sunocos having what they called "economy" grade which was either 85 or 86 octane, but I haven't seen that for quite a while.

I think it's funny how that station claims the 87 to be "plus", meanwhile that's the shittiest grade of regular you can buy in my area! LOL

Makes me think back to my Motocross days- a guy I used to pit beside at the larger tracks raced two classes and came by himself all the time, so he didn't want anyone stealing his race fuel while he was out on the track; he wrote "Mexican Gas, 80 Octane" on the cans...and nobody ever touched them. ROFL

I spoke too soon. Ran into this bullcrap on I-80 east of Chicago. Seriously? We drive over 2000 miles with no issues and NOW we have to hit this traffic crap? Weak!
