I had these leather seats from my wrecked GSX for a while now... Nobody wants them. I'm not gonna just give them away, they are perfect condition leather seats. but my current GSX has nicer seats. So I said if they weren't gone, I'd do something with them. Well here it is...
Time for some Camping/tailgating!
I'm not done tho. Just finished up the stiffening. My idiot room mate said "that metal is going to bend the second you sit on it. Well I just tested it for the past few hours with two grown 200lbs guys. I weight 150. So I added some stiffening, gonna add some more. I also am going to wire it up so the driver seat moves. Gonna wire in some fog lights. Install an Arm Wrest center console with cup holders and cig lighter/power plug. . . I'll prob locate a couple trashed living room chairs to get the swivel thing for the foot rest's. Also gonna set it up so It has a smaller hitch receiver on the other end, and I'll make a cooler/trailer/grill thing. Everything powered and running off of the Trailer power. Of course this wont be street legal or anything and I wont have people on it on the road. But for off road use I'll have some seat belts just for safety reasons.
My friend and I are still coming up with cool idea's but so far I love this project. What it is tho, is it slides into any normal sized trailer hitch receiver. I'm gonna make sure to use a bolt to lock it in place just to help with the slack in the receiver....
