I had these leather seats from my wrecked GSX for a while now... Nobody wants them. I'm not gonna just give them away, they are perfect condition leather seats. but my current GSX has nicer seats. So I said if they weren't gone, I'd do something with them. Well here it is...

Time for some Camping/tailgating!

I'm not done tho. Just finished up the stiffening. My idiot room mate said "that metal is going to bend the second you sit on it. Well I just tested it for the past few hours with two grown 200lbs guys. I weight 150. So I added some stiffening, gonna add some more. I also am going to wire it up so the driver seat moves. Gonna wire in some fog lights. Install an Arm Wrest center console with cup holders and cig lighter/power plug. . . I'll prob locate a couple trashed living room chairs to get the swivel thing for the foot rest's. Also gonna set it up so It has a smaller hitch receiver on the other end, and I'll make a cooler/trailer/grill thing. Everything powered and running off of the Trailer power. Of course this wont be street legal or anything and I wont have people on it on the road. But for off road use I'll have some seat belts just for safety reasons.

My friend and I are still coming up with cool idea's but so far I love this project. What it is tho, is it slides into any normal sized trailer hitch receiver. I'm gonna make sure to use a bolt to lock it in place just to help with the slack in the receiver....

ROFL..Now that's camping/tailgating in style..Needs beverage holders tho...

BTW can you close the back hatch so you can actually drive with them mounted like that?

Perfect for camping..You got the radio, nice leather seats , a campfire, beer and your girl..What else do you need..LOL

Yes you can close the hatch by moving the seats forward. Yes it does lock into the reciever. No on the retracting part. I'll just take them off. Yes I could drive with them but I wont cause I don't wanna get into trouble. Yes I'm gonna install a arm rest with cup holders and cig lighter on it. I have tons of plans for it. I just wanna make it so it can be used on any vehicle.

That is a cool idea. I had a pair of spare seats, I made one into a computer chair on a swivel base, and the other one I made legs as a regular chair. Comfy seats.

That is pure awesomeness. Very nice work. I turned one of my spare seats onto a gaming chair for gt5 but never got as far as intalling center councils and all that good stuff before I scrapped the project. It gets old lugging the heavy oem seats around.

That is a pretty cool idea. It's gotta be pretty heavy. Is it a pain in the ass to install and uninstall into the hitch?

Uh... It is pretty heavy. One person can't really lift it on their own. and I'm a small guy. BUT if I drag it in the right spot, I can lift the rear up and get it lined up right to slide in. But Its an easy 2 person job. I can't believe how much positive reviews I've been getting... A lot of people are claiming they would love to have their own. but I'd have to get that "Offroad Use Only" warning label to put on it just so I don't get into trouble for some idiot giving his children a ride.

I wanna now make a Go cart... Not like a cheap ass go cart, like something nice with real suspension. I have a GSXR750 motor just layin around too. But build this go cart around the seats, and have it so they are removable.... It would be the perfect package.... For offroaders, campers, tailgaters, and hunters. Even tho I'm against hunting but seriously who wouldn't want something like this?

Wonder what I could get for it, when its all done, grinded down and the frame painted.

so did you set it up so they retract into the jeep of just so they connect to the trailor hitch and perfect time only a few moor weeks till food ball season, " he was all like huck it chuck it FOOOTBALLL."

Lol you and your little dog too.
