It is possible ? Only with Cylinder Head and ECU or I must change the Engine ?

I would start by checking to see if they took the same head gasket.

probably he means SOHC to DOHC.. If so, you'll need the complete head and everything that runs / attached with the timing belt (oil pump, tensioner, etc)..

Yes. There was a SOHC variant of the 4g63. Look it up on the mitsubishi engines list on wikipedia. I don't think it was ever used in the states so your probably gonna have to figure out what vehicles it came in, and find a website for those vehicles.

If its in a DSM (90-99 Talon/Laser/Eclipse) its not a SOHC 4g63..... Its the 1.8l engine

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4g63

If you scroll down to 4g63 it lists the vehicles that it was in, but doesnt say which ones had the sohc variant.

Exactly, Couldn't have said it any better. A 1.8 head is pretty much an oversized paperweight for any 4g63 owner.

2-Valves per cylinder on that bad boy.

He's in europe, they have sohc 4g63's all over the place. I don't think the sohc block will work, because of the different tensioner for the timing belt. The head should bolt on though, as all sirius blocks have the same bore spacing, and bolt pattern.

donniekak - yes In Europe have 4G63 Sohc . I have looked the head gasket and they looks the same . I'm not good enough in English so hope that you will understand next questions : So I can change my cylinder head or not ? Can I use cylinder head from Hyundai , because some models / in Europe / are with the same engines , but with bigger compression ? What parts would I have to find for this cylinder head change ?
