Aww what an amateur mistake LOL. Hope you guys get everything worked out asap.

Its back up and running with Mr. Peppers engine in it! J and matt took it around the block for the first time! It looks so badass going down the road! Hopefully going to be able to have some fun in a few parking lots tomorrow!

DAMNIT!!! I missed it.. D: Ill definitely be by tomorrow for sure!

J should have PLENTY videos of it! We took it out to a parking lot today and had some fun with it! Haven't even been able to really get into it but it is a blast to drive!

IC Finished. Much thanks to Marty and Mr. Peepers:

i don't know if you plan on doing this but because the engine is somewhat "backwards" you could shave the "DOHC" and the "16 VALVE" so it gives it a cleaner look.

^^^ just my opinion but one hell of a sexy ride! :hellyeah:

That is TOO much fun! Still haven't been able to get into it much but the rear end sticks surprisingly well. Trans shifts incredible for being fresh, although just easy short shifting since it's not broken in yet.

How is the "rear end" doing for control? I was worried about the potential for snap oversteer or jerkiness with the LSD insert in the front diff instead of using a clutch-type front diff like I had liked to do.

We need some updated pictures with the motor and transmission in the car as a completed assembly!

Videos are always welcome too! ;)

Oh man, what a crazy few days it's been. I'm glad Crash and KP kept everyone updated. I finally caught up on some sleep last night.

:hellyeah: Much thanks to Mr. Peepers the generous ninja!! :hellyeah:

We really took it easy but she is very responsive and turns quite nicely. The car is a blast to drive, even really really slow :D LOL . I can say that there was more understeer than we thought and less oversteer than we expected. However, I don't think it means much as the car isn't tuned, the suspension isn't dialed in, the brakes need to be set better, and we were in a small parking lot. There is still plenty of work that needs to be done. I expect her to be behave quite a bit different once everything is set and dialed in.

I'll try to get some videos posted tonight. I'm a bit hesitant to post the vids because the cops that kicked us out saw the camera and remarked about the videos being on youtube.

Thanks again to everyone for all the support and the help!

I think we'd be happy even if it were a start-up video.

I just watched some of the vids for the first time. Most of them are just too shakey because the camera was mounted to the body panels. I'll have to get some bar-mounts for my cameras.

Here's a quick screen shot of one of the vids:

Poor terrified horse

The ride is great and the seats feel fine. Just need a 5 point harness; we used the 4point from my 2g temporarily.

The LSD seems to be working great so far, Tim. Like J said we just started to tickle it a bit around corners but the inside wheel didn't spin at all, and the back end started to step out nice and progressive(almost reluctantly). More throttle and that's probably all out the window.

I too am amazed how comfortable the seats are and the ride quality!

Sorry if I'm just reiterating what /J said.

What type brain bucket is that? I'm liking it enough to grab one if cheap enough. :D
