6bolt swap

Okay so The other day I was just messing around, got on it a couple times, and hit fuel cut. After that I left off and called it a day. Next day I get
Up and it drives different, better. I would have to describe the difference as, say your fuel line was clogged, then after you cleaned it out, it flowed 100 times better, and now you get the response and acceleration you expected. That's how it felt.

So I went to work, parked. No problems. Went to leave work, went to start it up. Fired once, Rpms almost made it to idle, and it died.

Now no start.

No spark, fuel pressure Guage reading 0 with key in on position.

Checked coil, no power is getting to it. So it's something beyond.

I was told maybe the crankshaft position sensor.

???? I don't have the money to just go around replacing parts til it works, so how can I atleast narrow it down if nobody has a for sure answer?

Thanks guys!

you say you have a 6bolt swap. do you have a 1g CAS? in that case you can just test one from a buddy or maybe just buy one used for about 30-40 bucks from your local junkyard. 1g CAS controls both spark and fuel, unlike a stock 2g dsm, it has TWO different sensors CAS and CPS.
