I grew up in Phoenix, so heat was a way of life for me. I have no issues with it, my car has no AC. In fact, none of the cars we owned while was growing up had AC either. I bought my first new car, off the lot with no AC. They say the AZ heat is a dry heat so it does not feel as hot. Well, there is no humidity in an oven, but it still cooks.

I prefer the humidity since at least moisture stays on your skin, so a breeze cools you. Humidity has been real high with the heat here in Indy, but not near as bad as it was in Biloxi when I was in the service.

I don't mind 100 degree weather. The humidity sucks, yes, but not as much as 4 feet of snow, stupid drivers, rust, salt, -XX* temps, and walking 4 to 5 city blocks through all of that shit just to get to and from my car.

Well im here in the heat too, going on 28days straight over 100. On top of that I haven't had any real rain in over two months. Plus I work in a manufacturing plant that has 3 furnaces that heat metal to over 2200 degrees. So if its 100 outside its 130 plus in the plant. So I feel your pain.

I remember roofing in this kind of heat

Good thing my integra has cold a/c but sucks the talon doesn't :p

Those temps, average summer day for me. :D

Before Vegas, I was stationed in Phoenix. I can take the heat no problem. Anything below 30 and yeah I'm not used to that crap anymore.

It's not so much the heat here.. It's the humidity. It makes the heat index SKYROCKET. I'm sick of it, can't wait for dry CA heat!

I'm with you leet, humidity sucks. Dry heat I can handle just fine.

I was in Houston, Texas last week; I have a picture of the thermometer on my Aunt's porch that said 107. It honestly felt so much better than the roughly 92 degree day we had here the day I flew back into Pittsburgh. Walked out of the airport and was sweating within 5 minutes.

Shit man that sucks. I can't stand the heat anymore. I can't believe when I was a kid I'd get excited for this shit and would ride bikes and run around all day. We've been lucky this year though in Commifornia. Have probably only had a hand full of days that reached 100. The rest of this summer it's 85 and sometimes 90. Those hot, humid days are horrible though :notgood:

If it wasn't for the rain the last 3 days I'd still be in the same boat as you..It's not raining today so it's gonna be a scorcher out there..And the heat is supposed to last until next week..It's only 80 out right now thank god..But it's still not even noon..

Here, look at these from this past winter, it will cool you off. :thumb: It was about 7 degrees out when I took these. Talons have FANGS!!!

It gets pretty hot here in AZ, but the worst part is hearing about all of the whining customers at work about how hot it is outside. Trust me, it gets hot when you're powerwashing at 4pm, wearing pants and having the sun beating down on you for 3 hours.

I've actualy gotten sick from delivering parts. Getting in the a/c and getting back out into the hot icky weather has kicked me right in the rear. And my electric bill is going to be sky friggin high. I'd be happy with like 70* weather year round. :)

Heat index has been upwards 120* here in Virginia; a huge change from my home in Alaska. About this time last year, I was in the middle east, which was hot, but not as humid and gross as this. Blah...

It's been in the low 80's for most of the summer, which is pretty hot for living at 9,200 feet.

i work for a hydraulic fracturing company. i work 19-21 hour shifts and have to wear a flame retardant body suit all day. where we were working last week it was 114. if the check wasnt huge, i wouldnt do it
