Hey I was wondering where I should go to buy a 2gb front bumper. Good price is always in mind but I don't want some shitty fitting, or poorly made one. I was thinking ebay, but who knows how good an ebay part is. Any ideas on the best place to buy one would be great, thanks.

Check your local junk yards for an oem one. Also check some of the supporting vendors of the site. I found mine for $150 at a local junk yard and it just had a small rip on the bottom lip which was easily repairable.

a junkyard charged you $150 for a bumper? that seems a little high. i just got alot of parts for my eclipse including a fender, tail light, 2 speakers, etc and it only ran me $40. But yeah junkyards are a good place to look for OEM parts. just because the car is "totalled" doesn't mean everything is damaged.

If you're wanting AEM parts check out andysautosports.com or autocityimports.com

hope this helps

Iv'e bought (2) ebay 2gb bumpers before for $100-$105 shipped and both have fit great.

One had the mitsu logo emblem shaved, the other had a triangle in its place... with more tabs for the wheel well shields

Im not sure if you have one of these where you live but in sc we have a place called key stone automotive and i got my bumper there for $60 only issue is it doesn't have the mitsu emblem on the front but every thing lined up and mounted properly

You could also get an OEM one from the partout ads on here.

I have a front and rear bumpers from a partout, but shipping is the hardest part. Unless anyone cares to enlighten me on the easiest way to ship them and get a box...

^ and get them shipped through greyhound, only problem is you have to pick it up at your closest train station but the price is worth it.^

are you looking for oem or aftermarket. for the most part every aftermarket one you but is gonna need fitted by someone with knowledge. just a matter of how much fitting is needed. ebay is cheap but may need more fitting afterwords. just a matter of what your looking for i guess. ebay tends to be a little pricey on somethings because its a lot of people looking to make a lot on a little but there are good deals you just gotta weed though the garbage to find the diamond in the ruff. ebay has become more commercial than a swap meet.

LOVE the Ebay Bumpers. Those companies that sell body parts on ebay have some nice products. I've purchased a couple and know a few people that have done the same. The one I have... Only issue I have is its hard to cut for an Intercooler, Because its very heavy duty. Its flexible but not like the stock one. it wont rip, crack or get damaged easily.

I'm just looking for an oem one. I have a 95 eclipse and I wanted the newer front bumper, so the 2gb front bumper. And I'm not sure about junkyards here, I live in Alaska and the cars aren't very popular, but I'll check those out first.

From what I read, ebay is probably my best bet? Besides a junkyard?

Bought mine on ebay (poly-urethane) the other week for about $100 shipped; but it has a stupid triangle shaped imprint where the mitsu logo goes...

I don't see you having any trouble with an ebay bumper only thing I can see is you may have fitment issues since I believe a 95 to a 97 for example is different around the headlights so it may take a little modification to work. Ebay is a good source just do your research, read the sellers rating and feed back more importantly the recent feedback plus the item description. Do that and you should have a painless transaction.

Good luck finding anything in a junkyard around here. I checked every one I could find from kenai to fairbanks and every place in between but I couldn't get anything I needed.

Haha, just realized you're from the 907. Good luck with shipping; I remember the pain of shipping everything while living in Sitka. Our ideal vacation was a ferry to Juneau to hit up COSTCO.

My next one is coming from the dealership at $167 you cant beat that. I currently have a Cerit-I-Fit on my car and its Ceritfied not to Fit. I have see two new ones tear exacly in the same spot on two different DSMs. The mould must be screwed up and the mounting tab tears off on the drivers side.

Yeah most ebay sellers won't even ship to Alaska, and if they do the price is ridiuclous. I luckily can ship to somewhere in the lower 48 and then get it shipped up there from cheap.

And yeah, I figured the junkyards here weren't even an option haha.

Are there different quality ones on Ebay? Like which one should I get?

read the previous customer reviews. bad reviews usually mean bad product.

Ya i always send stuff to my grandmas house in Montana because shipping ends up being like 3 times as much as the product it self if it's sent here.

I've run a Certifit bumper on my car for about a year now with no problems.
