Awesome project OP, I would love to be building one of those right now.

Looks like rear;

What determines mid or rear engine is if the axles are in front or behind the motor iirc

How do you plan to run an intercooler on that bad bit ch?
I was going to use a 1g SMIC at first:
The 1G SMIC Is A No Go | Project SL-R

I just got a 10x12.5x3.5 core and hope to mount it right above the transmission. I'm afraid this core will be a bit too big and will have space issues.

And the radiator... Up front?
Radiator Mount Attempt #1 | Project SL-R

The radiator is in the passenger sidepod. In the future, I do plan on running dual radiators, one in each side pod. The plumbing is a bit crazy though.

It's a bit too late, especially when it comes to $, to change up the fuel plans for the car. I hope I will be able to modify the endtanks so everything fits. [crosses fingers]

IC Finished. Much thanks to Marty and Mr. Peepers:

- BOV. IAT, Boost Source are on the endtanks.

Crazy! Lookin good! That thing is going to be sick.

Mid engine = engine in front of rear axles.
Rear engine = engine behind rear axles.

Again.. That thing looks F*ing SICK!!!! That things AS to be a Blast to drive, and im sure you cant wait for the day you can play with it!!

I think its better you didnt go with the 1g SMIC.. the one on there is a nice size and super short route! ONe question i was wondering about though, How are you going to direct air through the core? Im sure you have all that planned im just curious to see more!

good luck!

thanx guys!

Tom, you are always welcome over. More help the merrier.

Ambient airflow is a concern, however, I'm not going to worry about it until I can get some logs. May have to add a duct or fan if temps are too high.

Mind posting the link to the blog of this build? And just how much has this thing cost you to build at this point?

How hard will it be to register as well? I know you will register it as a "custom" or something along those lines, but having never heard of whats required to do that...just curious.

Thanks
