o ok. i talked to a buddy of mine and he told me i would need to drill into the head and such. it sounded a little off to me so i figured i would ask on here. thank you

i have a buddy who has a set of stock 1g cams i was just curious if they would drop right in like a normal cam installation or if there is anything i would have to look out for. Also the cam sensor, would that be alright or would a sensor out of a 1g have to be used?

It really wouldn't be worth the effort honestly. They are just barely better, very slightly. Maybe if you had the head apart already and had some 1g cams laying around.

But i sure wouldn't buy and install them as an upgrade. Specially since you appear to be stock, the money would definitely be better spent else where.

i am stock for the most part. the cames my buddy was going to sell for 20 bucks. in the process of that i was going to install a set of 3g lifters. about the only thing i have is a fmic, 14b, hsk sq4(i think thats what it is) i have will have injectors and im waiting for a buddy to come back into town to grab a welbro 255. sont sort of aftermarket clutch and flywheel. not sure of the brand. the car is down right now due to the ring gear popping off of the flyweel. Most amazing noise ever. so i figured im going to replace the clutch and of course flywheel and take care of the rest of the mods for the season

92-94 cams are slightly more aggressive than 2g cams. They are the same cams that were in the evo's 1-3. But as already stated, it would hardly be worth the effort. Save your money for some kelford 272's or similar. You'll be glad you did.
