That's going to leave a mark!

damn, i whant to see what caused him to flip.

haha its funny how you see the car violently flip and he just kinda gets out no problem like nothing happend and takes a look at the car and gets back in LOL

Amazing that he survived that wreck and got out like nothing happened.

Looks like he took about a minute to wipe the shit from his face which likely overflowed from his pants legs and now paints the entire interior of that car.

Eh?

I'm positive Cheeseburger Eddie would have no issue flipping that car like that. Good eye, Sean!

I think his body was in complete shock, and that's why he was able to get out and walk normal? He very well could of had a broken leg or arm and not realized it from the shock. I would really like to learn that trick, and hopefully become more skilled like the paralell parking girl on the bike below that video :)

Even if you're in shock, it's rather uncommon to be walking on a broken leg.

I've seen a few and those guys weren't going anywhere unless it was a low crawl.

I don't know about that. The mind and body can do some amazing things. I know cops are trained to aim for major muscles groups with their battalion sticks to immobilize people on pcp or other mind altering drugs. Breaking a bone will not stop an assailant who's mind doesn't signal pain. Your bones can't move without a muscle to control it. That is why "dead legs" are so freaking painful.

That's not true... When I wrecked my bike, it broke my collar bone. Got up checked my brand new ruined helmet, cussed about my ripped jeans, then I stood the almost 400lbs bike all by myself. All before my riding partner could even realize I wasn't behind him anymore. The collar bone didn't start hurting for almost an hour. After that I couldn't even move my arm. It's amazing what adrenaline can do for ones physical abilities.

The bike fell over a few months later, and I couldn't even get it half way up by myself. Shock absolutely can make you think you aren't hurt when you plainly are.

There is quite a difference between your collar bone and a leg bone when it comes to standing or walking around (even lifting an object). Regardless, I'm talking 'generally' and am not really here to start a pissing match.

As to the effects of shock and adrenaline, I'm well aware of what it can do. I've seen it many times, both on our side and the enemies'.

Right, back to my beer.

Yeah, no reason to get stirred up over it - However I believe i depends on the severity of the damage, the adrenaline, and the persons mindset of realizing if they are hurt or not. I know when I was in my incident at 14, I went home, played basket ball, and stayed overly active for about 1-2 hours. After that, I started getting very tired.. so I went to sleep. Woke up the next day screaming. When I arrived at the ER, the doctor couldn't believe that I had done any of that, let alone walked away from the incident (or that they LET me walk home. The Med Tech looked me over, saw a scrape under my left eye and said 'You're good!) I ended up bed ridden for 4-5 months, failed the 8th grade due to the injuries keeping me out of school (this was resolved years later), and will now suffer several more years of random pains and fragile ribs.

I broke/fractured/cracked all of my ribs, fractured my left arm, my left wrist, and one of my ribs pulled the membrane from the surface of my lung, ultimately resulting in me developing Pleurisy which was like being stabbed in the chest with a knife every time I took a breath.

Somehow.. for 2 hours after that truck hit me, though - I played basket ball with 2 friends.

Wow, that's a pretty impressive set of injuries to play through. I'll give you credit for that.

Now that I think about it, the one thing that sets the injuries I've seen apart is the amount of blood loss. Once you factor that in, it would probably change things (I'm not a doctor, but that's my educated guess. Enlighten me if I'm wrong!)

Mindset/realization of injuries DOES play a huge part.

I'm sure if I had KNOWN I was hurt, I wouldn't have moved. The thought that I was hurt would set in, my brain will open the pain receptors, and I'd have been cringing on the side of the road, right there. Thing is - I was conscious through the collision, I got oriented, and got mad. The guy ran a stop sign, I saw when he ran the stop sign, and he KNEW he ran it. What makes it better is that his cab was FULL of beer bottles that fell out of the door when he got out. I was a pretty level headed 14 year old - So all that did was piss me off. The people who's yard we were in called the cops, they showed up with an ambulance, cops took the guy to jail, ambulance checked me out and let me go. Lots of other small details that my family at the time handled (namely them letting me go without taking me to the hospital for a proper inspection). The guys excuse was "I was running late for work at the China Buffet. I didn't see the kid crossing the road."

On the way home, I was sore. I knew I was going to be bruised and stuff, but I was so excited because.. hell, I was 14, just survived getting hit by a truck (it wasn't traveling astronomically fast), and I felt awesome about it. I called my friends, told them, played basket ball all excited like " Yeah! Haha! I'm not hurt! " ...God did I pay for ever thinking that.

I promise you, though - If I had seen blood, or looked and saw a limb bent in an odd position, or worse...yeah. I wouldn't have dealt with it so well.

Haha oops...I didn't mean to start a mini battle. But you all seem to be right, there are way too many factors to take into consideration. Obviously a broken leg bone would not support the weight of the man, but fractured maybe? An arm would be pretty obvious I think. But who knows? I was just saying that I could be possible for this guy to be hurting alot more than he realized at the time, and with shock and adrenaline, he was able to get up and walk around. :) Pretty intense video though!
