Well unless your "Buddy" builds cars.. i would be careful about advice I take.. If it runs lean, that doesnt mean add better fuel, it means whatever is controlling the fuel, isn't delivering enough. This is where tuning Kicks in.. you wont really be tuning since your using SFMU.. 91 octane is designed for cars that are higher end/ performance. Thats what you need to stick with.

really i dont know ### kit it is i have my bov on now but i had to put a gasket in it then an its a garrtett .42 turbo an right now i have a MISHIMOTO INNERCOOLER BUTT I HAVEA BIG NASTY TO PUT IN IT AFETR I GET EVERYTHING SET UP like i said i bought it off craigslit for 300 manifold turbo ic /ic piping downpipe all the oil an water lines an bov
 
Wait its a water cooled turbo? Were are u getting your oil feed for your turbo? Where you getting the water from? Not saying it can't be done but, so for it sound like your burning money. An you may ruin a good turbo. You lost me at big nasty.

water hoses go from heater core an back to the return i know it works cause i pulled on off to make sure it was gettin water..an my braided lin goes back to my t fitting were i have my o/p gauge hooked up to an its gettin oil i checked everything before starting it

i will take pics of everything for everone how i got everything setup right now that will be around 130 today ill post pics..
 
Water cooling that turbo is pointless. its not BB..

Did you just pick parts to buy for fun? im just trying to figure out how and where you got these ideas of what to buy..

As for big nasty.. bigger isnt always better. it will probably do exactly nothing for you at your boost level..

like i said i bought it off craigslist as a bunble package for 300 dollars an everything fit perfect for me as for the watercooling part idk i just know it has them an why not use them if its goin to help me keep the turbo cool it works just fine i need to wait till i get my fmu an 255 pump put it together an see ### happens heck i couldnt pass up a deal like that anyways
 
got my fmc today just waiting on my walbro 255ok so i put my fmu on today 7/23 an it sometimes wants to run good but other times it freaks out an dont let me hit over 4000 rpm .do you think its my missing link the code it pulls is p1297 air/fuel metering still waiting on my 255 pumpnew status i installed my pump now an the car runs great for about 10 secs then it throws a code p1297 an dont let me rev higher then 4 grand..is that my map sesnor kicking it i have a missing link.anyone helpstatus i may have messed my map up when i tried it my first time without the ml acutaully like 3 times but im off to junkyard to grab one in the morning
