Just use a LIGHT layer of rtv high heat silicone, it only takes a little to seal things up.

Looks great! I think I saw you pulling into King Motorsports last weekend- I was in Kenny's 1gb.
He just said, and you quoted, that the he341 has the 7blade hy35 compressor wheel. And the he351 has the 7blade hx40 compressor wheel . . .
I understand that. I was asking the diameter of the compressor wheel between the he341 and the he351. I dont know the numbers(diameters) between what hy35 is and hx40 is.
THE SIZE
You can find that on the first page of any of the Holset threads:
"HY35: We don't know if te hy35 turbine wheel and housing is enough to reache the 60lb/min potential of the 56mm 7blade compressor."
"HX40: The 7 and 6 blade hx40 is called the super40 and has the 60mm compressor inducer."

those of you feeding your hx40 with a -3 line, how are you connecting it to your turbo? i cant find a -3 to 12x1.5 adapter to connect the line to the turbo. I guess i could to a -3 to -4 adapter then to a -4 to 12x1.5 adapter but im worried that the manifold will interfere. any insight or even pictures is appreciated
16cm2 = around 1.10 a/r
18cm2 = around 1.30 a/r
With either of those housings mounted to an open-flanged T3 manifold you'd have all of the lag as if you were running a single-scroll 1.1 a/r or 1.3 a/r housing on your turbo.
The only benefit would be turbine flow, and as Dave has now proven the T3 .70 a/r BEP housing is fully capable of maxing out the HX40 compressor on a 2.0L 9.0:1 engine. The only way you may need more turbine flow / less backpressure is if you had a stroker or very high compression ratio.
Now one of those housings properly set up with a twin-scroll T3 manifold could rightfully outspool AND outflow the .70 BEP housing.
I called ATP turbo and they said they can't do that?
Try to find a local piping shop that could do it for you.
Finally, after all these years, I purchased a holset. I found a deal locally for an 8-blade HX35.
