Alright, I have a 1995 Gsx some mods nothing crazy, no dsmlink and Im not sure if its been done to it (havent checked the ECU)....
but anyways, my tailights, power seat, windows DO NOT work :(
The ALternator has been checked at 10 different places they all say this it is perfectly fine (bench tested and on car) and it puts out more amps than all OEM ones...
anyways my Brake light, low coolant and battery light is on, there hasnt been a radio in the car since I got it 3 months ago but I still cant find out the problem!
please help :/ *ive also replaced the battery when i first got the car (not a junk wallmart Battery)

Just a heads up, almost everything runs through that alarm system and the atacs(?) computer. I will do some more digging when I get home. In the mean time, go through everythiong on your cars and list EVERYTHING that doesn't work, dome light, foot light, glove box light, heater blower, A/C, cigarette lighter, EVERYTHING... that will actually make it easier to trace. I will be able to see what all is tied together and narrow the branch down.

Also, list the fuses that are dead in your fuse panel. I can look at that diagram and maybe find something for you.

What's your battery voltage with the car turned off? While cranking? and with the car running?

Pull back the sheathing your ground wire. It's probably corroded and needs replaced.

If autozone tested it on the car, and claimed it was "okay", then you shouldn't have the dash lights.

If you know the alternator & battery are good, then it comes down to a ground wire, or the 120amp alternator/engine fuse.

ok, there is a relay that activates the field coil on the alternator. If it doesn't engage, the lights will stay on in the dash. It may also have something to do with some of the other stuff. It is above the transmission, on or near the fender well. It is a black connector with 4 wires. It may be just below the intake tube. This component is called the generator relay. It is probably a black square looking thing with 4 wires plugged into it.

Hope this helps...

Well my int lights don't work any of them. But the Glove box one does but I believe only when its running? The brake lights, power seat, windows, windshield wipers/ windshield sprayers, Thats all Off the top of my head... But no I have not had time to check anything and I will get back to you about which fuses they were, I know that they were in the Interior box.
Thanks for all the help so far tho,

And I have already replaced the ground from the Tcase to the body, And the ground from the negative terminal to the firewall

Not a problem. From what you are telling me, you may have a broken wire coming from the relay box under the hood leading to the "junction box" or fuse box in the cabin. The good news is, with the info you are giving me, we can probably find it. Just be patient, and eventually we will get to the bottom of it.

Yea My car started running terribly today, threw the Check engine and my obdII port has no power either, so I have no idea whats going on now....

Electrical can be a huge pain in the ass. First thing to check is to see if the harnesses have been cut into. I.e. did anyone ever install an aftermarket alarm, neon lights, elevenity-billion subwoofers, ect. Also, you state that a whole row of fuses do not have power? There's a clue right there. What you will need is a wiring diagram to see where those fuses get their power from and trace it backwards. Also, check the fuseable links that run from the main positive battery terminal. They should be orange-ish in color. Oh yeah, and as stated check all grounds for corrosion! (that greenish color)

There are two main fuse boxes: one under the hood and one under the dash.

Should I maybe clean all grounds? or just the main thicker ones? I cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere, I need one to try and find the grounds too

Wouldn't be a bad idea... at least check them for corrosion. Here's a pic form the FSM what shows all the chassis grounding points on the turbo cars.

You may be able to find some .pdf files online for the wiring diagrams if you don't want to buy the FSM's. But usually its not a bad idea to invest in the books if you are going to keep the car.

Well I think I have some credit on my autozone account, so I think I should decide on the choices there :)

The info I have been giving you has been from a factory manual. The wiring diagram is difficult to follow at best. I am an elctronics/ electrical technician by trade, and have used diagrams that range from old school before I was even born, to new ladder style, to european standard diagrams, and the diagram in the Eclipse factory service manual is the hardest to follow of any I have ever encountered. I guess the fact that it is an electronic copy has a lot to do with it, but for a man who is a self described electrical newb, these diagrams are not where I would want to start. Just my .02

Wow LOL I wish you would just happen to live in Ohio, and just out of boredom fixed my car

Im still not sure what your talking about tho, I cant find what your telling me, More info please.

Have you checked the three fuses on the battery termenal. why doesn't the car have a radio? what do wires look like? did it have sound system in it(woofers, amp, ect)

Cars previous owner had a normal walmart head-unit in it and took it when I bought it because I didn't need it, Then i sold the one I had, now I have a doubble din ready to go into it but now Nothing works. It still has factory amp and wire, and there another black wire that looks like the amp one Im guessing a 5 disk?
Not completely sure what wires your asking about....

the "relay" should be attached to the car and is located just underneath the air intake pipe. It is black and square, should have 4 wires attached to it. Probably says omron on the top. You may have to remove the intake pipe... (the one that goes from the air filter to the turbo) to see it.

Alright Im going to try and figure this out, right now Im trying to get my fuel filter off/out to change it and I cannot get it

Had to use an impact to get the top bolt out, finishing the bottom tomorrow after the hardware store opens so i can buy new brass washers. And I took my intake out, cant find the black box so i cleaned my k&n
