My problems is a code po3o2, misfire cylinder 2. I have done the resistance check on the coil pack : 1,4- 13.86kohm and 2,3 14.07kohms. All injectors are in specs. New ngk spark plugs and wires. my concerns is the primary resistance. I measure it and all three reads 1.3 ohm. that is too high. Specs calls for 0.7-.86 ohms. any idea how i can fix this misfire

Swap the plugs and wires around to see if the misfire moves, to try and isolate the plugs or wires for fault. If no change, then move the coils. Its a fairly simple concept of part isolation.

yes i switch cyl. 2 and cyl 3 spark plug. I have been checking constantly to see if there is a misfire on cyl. 3 then I will know that it is the plug fault. but as of right now the code has not come on. I will keep checking for a day or two and if nothing then i will switch the wires. btw i also did a comp check and everything is in specs.

It only takes a few ohms to make it not fire right.

I had a honda civic..... Seafoamed it...... Wouldn't start... But it had spark, fuel, and compression.
Coil was like maybe 5% out of spec, and sure enough i slapped a new one on, and she fired right up.

I had the same problem, i change plugs a wires same problem after new part check your coils mine were cracked so check to see if you have any cracks in your coil

mine just randomly started doing the exact same thing a few hours ago! had the car running for about an hour, shut it off to get ready for work and than about 45 minutes later the car sounds like it blew up. The CEL showed a P0303 which is the cylinder 3 misfire, and I believe that its the coil pack. when the car is on and I pull the wires from the pack they all have good spark coming from the coils except the 3rd port. it also is very black inside the opening and the gold plate at the bottom is completely missing. wont know until Tuesday what exactly it is. I am just going to replace the coil pack for 2 and 3 cylinder, new plug wires, new spark plugs, and also the ignition control module since that is corroded a bit somehow, which causes my RPM gauge to malfunction occasionally.

I'm starting to think it the coilpack too. It follows me everywhere I go. I have a vw gti vr6 and I been through 4 coil pack every misfire was because of the coilpack. Now is have a gsx and coil pack problems. man must have pissed off the coil pack gods of something. ordering teh coilpack on monday and we will see.

anyone knows if there are other car that I can get the coil pack off from. I am going to go to the junk on monday and looking for a coil pack and the control module. there not many 4g63 turbo around

Idk if there are any cars that have the same but i will tell you to buy new if possible. I replaced this coil pack with one that was used and now it's messed up again. My new one is 100 dollars from Oreileys. Have it on Tuesday and the new ignition control module is 144 new, which I also replaced once with a used one. I just invest new so I know it has that warranty and that it will last.

ok just install the new ebay coil pack. fyi ebay coil pack sucks. i had to trim the bracket to make it fit and only two bolts line up. the the screws didnt fit, i had to find new screw. anyways drove it to work and it seems like it ok. alot better but i dont know if the misfire or the problem went away. hadnt wot it yet. need to fix my biss leak.

Like i told another guy, i had the same problem.. and somehow it all went away after i fixed all the friggin boost leaks i had and replaced the plugs. just a shot int he dark.. not saying thats what it is but thats what just happen to work for me..
