Hey, im in the puyallup area and i'm pretty sure i have an ecu issue but was wondering if anyone was willing to meet up and swap ecus. i dont feel like spending a couple hundred on a new one if i dont have to. thanks

I have a spare 1990 ecu you can use to test it with. Have you opened yours up to check for leaking caps?

I have but i didnt see anything that looked bad. i have a code (25-barrometric pressure sensor) i'm converted to 2g mass air but my factory boost gauge isnt working either. i feel like maybe an ecu issue, what do you think?

Did u reset the Ecu an see if it clears the codes? An if ## factory boost controller don't work buy a manual or 50 bux at dealer for a new factory boost controller I know I bought one new from dealer. I've got a Ecu for a 93 that works good but I think the plugs r different from the early 90's dsm

See man I'm new to this I have a 90 laser... how do you reset the ecu?? And check for codes?? I'm not good with electical stuff ....but I found a guy with a ecu on cl but I don't want to buy it if that's not the problem with the car ya kno??
