How ever keep in mind i have been tinkering on my babe on and off since high school. please suggest injector size, engine management, any thing else in your opinion that will help me achieve my goal. i am running into fuel cut i think.

You should be well into the 13s with those mods. Our cars run in the 14s stock. You're set to go much lower, as others have said. Be prepared for a turbo failure if it's one of those that says "turbocharger" on the side of it. LOL But that's somewhat expected, and hey, you may get lucky.

Since you're already this far, ECMLink sounds like a really viable option, even if it is down the road a bit. You can eliminate the MAF altogether. Run injectors as big as you want. It's the best bang for your buck as far as I'm concerned, I think it would be somewhat irritating to switch tuning setups once or twice in order to reach your overall goal. Just thinking about hacking up my wire harness like that makes me a little uneasy. AEM EMS is a plug 'n play affair, but for three to four times the price, less intuitive interface, and far inferior customer support, I don't think the harness will hold a grudge.

If you're looking for 13s and "that's it", post #6 will do you. And one last thing before I forget: you ordered the Stage 1 chip from Keydiver. I assume your EPROM ECU has been socketed to accept the chip, or will be? The socket goes in place of the EPROM chip, then the new chip is installed into the socket. Just making sure you know, because that was a little foggy for me for a while. :coy:

ok im back its been a long time but ive done more mods, done some reading and a lot of college. here is the deal. im trying to decide weather or not to go with LINKv3 or LINKv3 LITE. ive noted that LITE does not come with gm maft native set up. however from what i understand LINK-LITE supports speed desity, so this means i can switch over to speed desity and toss the gm maft all together and run a MAP sensor right? is this a better way to go? :ohdamn:

I'm personally running an safc and evo 560cc injectors and they run very well together for me but I would eventually like to run link v3 lite. Everyone is suggesting link as a better alternative to the safc/eprom chip (which it is) but they are also forgetting to factor in the price of a laptop to run it if you don't already have one. Considering how busy you seem to be the safc is very simple to use and won't take nearly as much time to learn/tune as link will. Its just a thought. I'm gunning for mid 13's as cheaply as possible and will be running the good old 14b till it blows. Seat time at the track is going to be your biggest mod as stated before. Just stick with it cause it might frustrate you at first but once you get the hang of it you'll be happy you did. :thumb:

I'm personally running v3lite on speed density. It is a great option and more affordable then a GM MAF with v3full or v3lite and a maft. The nice thing about going with v3 lite is that you can upgrade to v3full later down the road and just pay the difference, you don't lose anything and you only end up paying like $5 more.

Why don't you look at the times on this board and compare you mods to the people who are already running the times you want.

People can list off parts to you all damn day.. but if you aren't willing to spend the time researching what combos work (and how to make them work) your car's not going to get any faster.

ok then its decided full verstion it is. now i only have two things left to decide. i need to decide if 950cc FI are big enough for future hp plans of 400 + . as well as what bov to buy. i was thinking tial 50mm atmos. this is a street strip car

EDIT:
no 13s that was a long a time ago i want 10.50 or 11 flat. this car has nothing left but a shell and bucket seats. its come along way since ive posted last. i just dont want to have to upgrade injectors or bov at a later date.

and already have the 3" gm plumed in with new piping and fmic done.

Have you ever been down the 1/4 mile? If so what's your best time? In not, forget 10s. Just push that thought right out of your mind.

For the injectors, it will depend a lot on the fuel you will be using. 850 injectors are plenty for over 400 hp on gas. If you are going to be running E85 you need about 33% more fuel so plan accordinglly. Plus it won't hurt to have more injector then you need so my advice is go big.

ok ordered dsmlink V3+950cc injectors seeing as my ecm is already socketed. still deciding on what bov to get. im was thinking used, just scared to get burned buying stuff from the dsm classifides....

Just stick with the 1g bov to keep costs down...Set you boost to 20 psi and see if it holds..If it dont..Stick it in the vice, and try again..Or there is always the dodge/garage mod for a 1g bov..

In my old red talon I ran 13's on DSM Link, 650cc Inj, Wally 255, AFPR, Wideband o2, and a turbo-back exhaust. All this on a 14b running 17 pounds of boost. It's retardedly easy to run 13's in these cars as long as you choose the right mods.

Although I think he was referring to this part ^. You never answered my question, what's your fastest pass so far? I'm curious since your goal jumped from 13's to 10's.

He also never posted where he got the turbo from..I'm guessing ebay since that's where the bov came from..

Theres nothing wrong with ebay turbo's. Except for the part where they blow..Mine pulled hard untill the last two times I drove it..Then the last time, I knew It was completly shot..

like a few people said dsm link will do you wonders. get a nice tune on that think and the mods you have you should be able to run 13's with ease. my buddy has almost the same set up as you, but has dsm link and a good tune. and the car is a monster. btw i didnt read everything on here so im not really sure what you have for a turbo

eBay bov

All these sound like ebay specials. If so, swap them out for real parts. When you try to push them to the limit in order to run 10s, they will fail.

Ok this list is way out dated now,
the only thing i still have from ebay is the ebay turbo and the only reason that has not been replaced is because i just now am getting link V3 and 950's so there is really no point in upgrading before its finished. ive only drive 30 miles since this was first posted, i have a huge box of new parts just no time to work no her

my "GOAL" changed for 13 to10.50 or 11 flat ### a good friend of mine let me run his tricked out 408 dakota down the stip and my first time ever on a track i ran a 11.6-1/4
