Auto is way easier on the lunches(dont break shit as much). Hold boost till you let off gas.. Pretty much if you want an all out drag car..go auto. I for one will never go auto but Thats just me.

Thanks for all the comments! One thing I thought was quite interesting was that the car actually trapped 1mph faster at the same boost level than the 5-speed but then again it wasn't alway in boost with the 5-speed.

As for a video I am sorry I didn't get a good video beside the half ass one that my buddy took with his phone but I am still trying to get him to post it online.

Are you on the 1g trans? If so what converter are you using again and are you on the motor or using nitrous to get it stalled up?

1g trans, ipt restall and using a dry 50 shot to get it up on the converter.

Link to video is up in first post.

Congratulations Kenny!!! Sick launch and awesome times! I am glad the race auto is working so good for you! Keep on kicking butt and hit that low/mid 9 that I know you can do with it!

Kenny needs a lot of safety equipment.

Harness, cage, firesuit, gloves, neck collar, driveshaft loops, kill switch, Nitrous blow down tube stuff, wheel studs, metal value stems, 8.49 10-point cage, etc.

Congrats man! I can't wait to tap into the 9s with my car! Are you really running on the prokit springs? My car sat way higher with the prokit and agx's!

Yep prokits and agx's. I noticed it seems to sit a bit lower in front with the auto which makes sense from the weight. It seems to sit nice though and sits a bit higher in the rear which is probably good.

Congrats man i've been keeping an eye on your threads and very happy to see you run the 9 sec pass and a 9.78 at that :)

Car looks like it leaves nice and hard but smooth and it shows with the consistant 1.4x 60's!

Great job man!

Just saw this post and wow! Awesome job, congrats! :thumb:

Drove to the track, ran new best times and nothing broke.. Not much more you can ask for.

Dave, I'm pretty sure your car is a good bit lighter :) I think Kenny took a little off the front spring back when it was a 5 speed to make the car sit more level.
