In that Food Lion shopping center betwen Krystals and KFC. They used to meet up there on Friday's but I haven't seen them there in a month or two. Anyone know where the tuners meet up anymore? I would be up for a Daytona run down A1A if we could get some DSM's together.

Up here in Jacksonville theres a meet every Saturday, At sonic out at jax beach.

I came out there a few weeks ago and it seemed pretty dead compared to back then. I saw some DSMs there, but didn't recognize any I knew. A silver 1G eclipse parked next to my talon and was playing the DSM song though.

thats some funny shit, probably pissed off a lot of Honda guys, but i'm still shopping for my next so ill be out there when i find it

thats pretty funny just reading troug here and i found somebody talking about me haha u guys r right is not to many dsm around there but i still keep going overthere n have some beating hondas haha

I think I have the right info here,it's the first Friday of every month that there is a car show at the Krystals on Merrill. There isn't much for imports but the old classics are pretty impressive. I was there last month and there is a guy with an older Beamer (with the front flipping c/f hood) that had a pretty big turbo.
As far as searching for a DSM check eBay, autotrader, and the classifieds on here. If you find one and your not very sure post on this thread and I can look it over if you want. I am a mechanic so if it's close I would even go look at it with you and make sure it is everything it is supposed to be. It took me almost 5 years to find my current GSX, and I drove all the way to Chicago for it (worth it).

It's gonna he hard waiting, but sence I know what I know now about dsm's I'm so picky, .

That is how I was, after owning two DSM's and blowing the second one up (due to the oil filter backing out from the OFH), I knew exactly what I was looking for. Good things come to those who wait. Just be prepared to pay more for being picky. I paid close to 8k for my 99 GSX, but it was everything I wanted. A unmolested, never modified, single owner/old guy owned, rarely driven, garages kept, and every single service and maintenance done at a Mitsubishi stealership. The little sticker in the top of the window had the name of the stealership and I was able to give them the VIN and they faxed me everything they had. The old guy even had the tires rotated like clockwork, and every bulletin, oil change, ect was done.

The only thing that kind of sucks is that I had to start with a virgin slate and have to front the money to do all the modifications, where there are a tone of DSM's that have all the mods done and cheaper than I paid. At least I know the path I want to go with the car and can make sure it's done right

I'm looking for a 1g after already owning a 1g and 2g, I'm willing to pay 5k for a fully clean decked one, closer to 3 for anything else, just in the wait I guess.

yeah it was bad this weekend,
my car is pretty much fully build everyting is done on the internals from the bottom to the head buutttt i runing stock ecu n stock injectors so u already know the higest i can go is 15 psi but is running pretty good to be on 15 psi at least i can say nobody else on 15psi can catch me haha 320fwhp.
i keep looking for a ecm link if somebody know about one for sale let me know

and he has all that no tuning system no wide-band just a boost guage ?

i thing u should read the add again it say "the ENGINEEEE is build to go up to 700 hp" not that the car have all u need to go up there! u cant expect to pay $3,000 for a 800hp dsm come on man!!

AHHH very correct u got me there.
My thread is getting bashed so i am going to start pointing out reasons i don't like these cars people keep throwing at me like i haven't already searched.

I don't know who all will see this thread but I would love to see how many of us can get together for the car meet this coming Friday. September 2nd at the Krystals on Merrill and 9A. I am going and I will see if I can get a couple other DSMers, maybe go for a drive after? Its a muscle crew there but I like looking at their cars just as much as ours. Stock, modified, ugly or purty it doesn't matter. Let's get together and talk DSM's!

Theres a car show saturday at Buffalos cafe on youngerman circle from 9am-6pm $5 admission, also there is a car show off blanding and lockrain in the Kmart/zaxby's parking lot this and the first saturday of every month thinking 5pm-8pm gonna start a new thread for intrest.......
