i recently just purchased a 2.3 stroker kit from jackson auto machine. i have a 97 GS-T. ive been trying to research a turbo set up but there are millions to choose from. wonder if you guys could help me in the right direction. i know i have to upgrade the fuel and many other things. im looking for 450whp where the turbo kicks in at low rpms. should i be looking at divided or undivided housing with what numbers and also external wastegate on the manifold or o2housing?

Im running hy35 its pretty nice also and is good to go already with a t3 housing. Also coming from an automatic diesel i believe it spools faster then the hx

I've always loved the fpgreen but the hx35 has really proved to be a solid turbo and for the price you couldn't ask for more.

On a side note I saw this a while back on it's performance. It's for a 5-6.5 litres and output is only 100-280hp :p

PLEASE! . . Stop. . .!

The output of a diesel motor considering it revs to 4000rpms. . . Make such power as you've linked to with a 550whp turbo typical in the dsm world by 4000rpms. ;)

Precision 62/65 really good, you don't have to change turbo if you want to get more hp.

i planning on a 2.3 stroker build. i got enough money for the short block right now, but dont have any supporting parts, such has new engine mounts, turbo set-up, fuel, waterpump, tune, clutch. should i buy all the supporting parts first and then the engine?

I suggest to built the engine 1st, then the others parts. If you don't have a built engine you don't know what performance parts you need to finish. Just my 2 cents!

I recommend you to talk to a friend that work at www.raceeng.com that he can help making a good combination for your setup.
