Is your car running a Curt Brown cylinder head? 145mph... WOW! that's hauling the mail, in a hurry! (If I recall correctly, 135mph requires a chute, and 11.49 and under requires a 5 point harness, among other things correct)?

150+ is when you need a chute. Though 135+ is when you need A LOT of safety equipment but not a chute.

Congrats Dave! 145mph is flying!!!! If you don't mind me asking what is the race weight of your car?

Its a trip going down the track at those speeds!!! I really have no clue about the race weight, I'm guessing around 2850lbs, I need to find someone in the Tri state area that has them fancy scales!

Rode in this car today for the first time since it was on the HX35 with a stock 6-bolt.

It's literally unbelievable.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I think Christy was a little upset that she didn't get to go for a ride in it!!!..LOL

Wow great times, this makes me double think my borg 259 ett. Running it on a top mount t4 twin scroll but maybe I should switch to an HX40 twin scroll. Amazing times, now hit 9's!!!

Congrats! That in car video is killer! Talk about Launch! Your car does look high up, what size rims are you on? I bet you would benefit from a stiffer suspension, although it looks cooler looking like its coming off the ground.

Great job Dave, bet your glad you didn't hear a rear axle banging around like usual. LOL
Car is getting it done for sure, she's gotta a nine in her for sure. GL :D

Can you comment on the trans build? (heard Shep stage 4) What final drive are you on? Wavetrac or other LSD? Welded center diff I assume?

What kind of safety equipment do you have? That's pretty damn fast. I'm probably going with an HX-52 on my Talon I just bought from Sean(Slippi84).

Its more like a stage 3 in a half...LOL It is a shep s3 with dual synchro 2nd gear and a machined dual synchro third, with a welded center diff! I didn't like the lower gear ratio of the evo3 gearset! Stock front diff, with stock final drive...

The only safety I have right now is, a 5point SFI harness! Cage coming soon.

Yea, I'm gonna have to do something with my suspension! The agx's and eibach isn't cuting it! I have 16x7 rims with the 26-9.50x16 QTP slicks!

Very nice times. Looks like Ricky got that thing running pretty good. How do you like these KELFORD 280's? I know you did a bunch of other changes so it may be hard to tell. Been following your threads for a while and I have faith the 9 is coming. Hopefully I'll run into you someday. Ricky is going to degree my 280's and give me a nice tune here shortly. You ever come up to Capital?

Its hard to tell about the cams, i do know the cars streetabilty is way better this year compared to last years build! Probably gonna go back to the track in two weeks and try again...

Ricky does good work, hes the only person I let touch my car, besides me and Justin! He really knows his stuff!

I go down to Baltimore and the DC area about every other week, for work, but never with the car!

Heres another incar video from Thursday night, for you guys to enjoy!!! Crapy 2.0 60ft, but ran a [email protected]... Just wish this run had my first video's launch! Would of been a 9!:D

Super-smooth run besides be bogged launch....and that lane looks WAY smoother than the left lane- especially in the shutdown area.

Out of curiosity, what's the 0-60 mph time on something like that? I bet it's ridiculous. LOL

Yea, the left lane sucks at the shut-down area, it scares the shit out of me sometimes! Wish I could just pick the right lane every time!

I have no clue, I could check on link, just like you would when doing your 70-90 time!

I was thinking last night on the way home, You may benefit some if we enable No lift to shift. It will almost certainly let you hit 2nd easier... you just have to get some practice with it to get used to the way it feels....I wonder if there would be any benefit to a clutch adjustment as well.....

Either way...congrats man I'm glad it came together as hoped... was a little worried at first ;-)

Great work Dave! Ricky and Justin, awesome pit crew!

The no lift to shift feature will work wonders with this setup. Those 9's are coming for sure!

Good luck! Keep up the great work!

Thanks man!!! I love those two guys, they helped me out alot with this car!!! I don't know where my car would be at right now without them! Probably still in the 12s, blowing turbos, and spinning rod bearings!!!

Also, I'm probably going to retire the Hx40 when it runs in the 9s, and 150mph...Thats my goal for this turbo setup! It might be tough to get the 150 mark without upgrading my fuel injectors, but I will give it a shot!!! I will be doing another fuel rail, and a second set of PTE1200s this winter, along with a HX52!
