Hey all just wanted to drop a line and introduce myself. I recently acquired a 95 tsi for 2k for the purpose of a daily driver. (I didn't want to put the extra miles on my GTI) The cars pretty much stock and since I've purchase it I've put on new tires, changed the oil and filter and added engine restore, changed to NGK plugs and a new air filter. I've been running premium gas through her and she's purs like a kitten. I wouldn't hesitate taking this car across country. It's taking me every ounce of disciple to not buy upgrades for her. I'll try and get some pics up ASAP!!!!

Welcome:D

I live over on the SC side of Lake Wylie, and there's quite a few of us around the Meck' area. You'll enjoy the website and do your research and ask questions. Tons of very knowledgeable guys (and gals) on this site.

Get your profile up to date and it'll help out when you start asking questions as to what you have and what has been done.;)

Thanks for the warm welcome, much appreciated. I live on the east side of Charlotte at least for the next few months then hopefully moving to Fort Mill or Rock Hill area. Been doing a ton of reading on the site so far thanks. I've added a couple of pics. Thanks again.

Eff' discipline. That car is just waiting for some lovin'.

Welcome to the forums, have lots of fun with your car. Even though it looks awesome make sure the general maintenance is up to date on it.

dang thats a pretty clean car man. welcome to the forums!! :D

Thanks!!!! I like how the pics turned out but to be honest the clear coat is coming off on the roof. You can't really tell from the pic because of the coat of wax.
It should really have a new paint job at some point. Thanks again :)

I can't agree more. The previous owner had to put a new turbo in it and while doing so put a hole in the radiator so that's been replaced. He said he did a visual inspection of the timing belt and it looked good but I know that doesn't always mean it's not due.

If and when I decide to do any upgrades some preventative maintenance will need to be done first. Thanks for the warm welcome.
