let me know what yall think

Mike

Its cool an all but I still say you make a sheet metal heat sheild..So it's doesn't make the car hot as shit..I think it's a wonderful idea tho...

it doesnt make anything hot, even after a long drive on the freeway when you pull over and stop you can touch it and its not that hot. that heat wrap stuff is amazing man.

Well its your car but there is no way I would cut holes in my car just to run the exhaust out of the rear quarter panels. If you wanted that sound just run it open down pipe.

i like it alot and sounds great. could you get a video with it a little further away as it rattled the speakers a little to much haha sort of past the rear bumper to the side if you can! also this is a gsx correct? then correct me if i'm seeing things ( or not in this case) but why don't i see a prop shaft LOL is it above the exhaust or has it just been deleted?? great work though i admire your custom work. im also in the process of deciding what to do with my exhaust when i make it! keep it up mike

Its a GST.

Why did you have it come out of both sides? why not just a single side exit?

Its different but id never want to cut up my quarter panels like that unless it was a straight track car only

Wow that's a bad idea. If you get pulled over for no muffler and have to put a normal exhaust back on the car what are you going to do about the 2 holes?

You might want to do something about that wheel/tire setup. Having stretched tires is not the best idea for traction.

+1 since I live in Cali too, I'm planning on going to a stock cat back

It's a gst people...no awd

It sounds even meaner in person :thumb:

trust me, ive had this car almost 8 years now and like 6 of those years the car ALWAYS had an open downpipe, this sounds NOTHING like a simple open downpipe man. its sounds wayyy different.:D

Its in the custom fab section, and I think you did a great job! Clean and smooth bends! Not to mention sounds friggin bad ass.. :thumb:

Thanks man, you should hear it in person, it sounds way better in person:sneaky:

it sounds bad ass, good job man

Thanks man, but that camera doesnt catch the full effect. it sounds WAY meaner in person.

Thanks man, yeah i tried getting different angles with the camera, thats the best i can do man. that took forever to upoad too Lol. and yes this is my GST i did this too. my GSX is belize green and is still back home in texas hibernating

Holy wheel gap, Batman!

Yeah yeah i know, just as soon as i can afford to buy a 900 dollar 1G FWD Coilovers i'll slam it, but it rides smooth as hell for now and never scratches like the VR4 does. this car is far from being done man.:thumb:

yeah Ive always wanted to do this, having one side exit would of been like everyone else, im pretty sure im the only 1g that has done this. pus to have the sound come from only one side of the car would of bothered me:banghead:
I love it. and its going to stay this way.:D

:nono:WTF Why the hell would i put the stock exhaust on there?WTF its a TEXAS car, if i get stopped in cali, they cant mess with me because im not living here permanently. :D

and for your comment about the wheel/tire setup, theres nothing wrong with Rota GT3's and right now it drives amazing, the need for stickier/wider tires is not necessary at the moment. when i have the whole setup converted to speed density with E85 putting down 500whp on that big ass turbo i have on it, then i'll think about running some advan A048's or some BFG G-force R1's, or maybe even Toyo 888's. :hellyeah:

Thanks Augustin,:thumb: and yes he's right it does sound ALOT meaner in person, whoever goes to MOD will see and hear it. :D

Thanks for the all the great feedback guys:thumb:

By the way Mike, your other thread is still open

That sounds amazing but I wouldn't want to cut up by car like that.

Open downpipe does sound amazing, same with having a wastegate dump. :thumb:

Looks awesome, thanks for posting interior pictures and the video. The side exit exhaust looks really mean, I like the wheels too, everything's done very nicely on the car! That's a pretty clean install of the exhaust as well. :rocks:

Advan AO48's are so Sticky!, 60 tread wear but sticks like crazy glue aha, my brother has them on his Wrx Wagon right now.

I'm a fan!!! I also had a side exit exhaust on my fwd for three years. It was awesome and got compliments everywhere I was since I was the only one around. It wasn't nearly as creative as that though. Just out the passenger side under the quarter panel with a slight angle. Although mine had a muffler mounted just after where the cat USED to be it sounded badass but nothing like that.

Thanks man! I like your top mount I'm gonna do that to my vr4 eventually. But with either this GT4094R I'm lookin at right Now or one of those 1800 FP HTA GT3794r's
