How would the how would the 16th 23rd or 30th in june work with all of us? I'm about 97% sure i will be at the jackson dragstrip (house of hook) all of those days. Thats the test, and tune day.

All my parts will be here tomorrow. I'll see what happens when everything is put in place. After that i needa work on a good solid tune for this car, and some practice in the seat if everything goes right with the start up.

Also i'm looking for a non cracked valve cover let me know SC guys if you have one.

Sounds great. Im gonna try to get a little track time Friday. Get a base time for my car

I just got word from TRE that my trans should be done this Friday so Hopefully I will be able to install it on the 11th.

And I am way down for road course action since that is what I built this car for.

I was using a 1/2 inch drive today putting my injectors back in, and tightening the fuel rail. I start to talking not paying attention, and i broke the middle bolt off rofl. What next... sigh

because i broke my other ratchet, and the 1/2inch was right there. I didnt feel like looking for another ratchet pure lazyness really messed me up LOL

Ya well im waiting for new bolts because i stretched 2, and broke 1 so, now thats whats holding me back LOL. I was hoping to go to the track this thursday

my gaskets, oil pump, water pump should be here Friday. Gotta take the pistons and rods to get fitted. 2g pistons on 1g rods. 2g wrist pin is slightly larger so they gotta resize the rod heads. Get my "stage 2" head rebuilt, and a new timing belt tensioner, and I should be golden.

Sounds like your on the way to having a real DSMonster. What are you HP and 1/4 mile expectations?

oh this engine is just stock so I can get on the road. when I bought the block, it came with the new pistons, rings, rods, and crank, so I just decided to put them to use so I can drive the dang car. I will start on the real build later. I want to work any bugs out of the rest of the car prior to putting a lot of power under the hood.

Next will come the mildly built 2.4 stroker, haven't decided on a turbo yet, and a 5spd conversion. Probably around 400 at the wheels. Nothing excessive, but nothing to scoff at either. Can't make my mind up about the body yet, and the interior will be raped and rebuilt. She will be totally new when I get done with her.

I just wanna drive the damn thing for now.

Good deal. Got big ideas myself. Looking at doing a AWD conversion at the beginning of the year.

I got my kit... I gotta get the rest of the machining done next week... and I should be ready... Started putting the bottom end together today. The machine shop that did this crank did an amazing job... Perfect polish, chamfered passages, dead nut clearances. Highly satisfied.

Congrats on that palmetto. I should have my mechanic at my house tonight, or tomorrow. Gunna get the car to bust off, an fix my mistake LOL, due some street tuning.

Went to the track tonight. Did not so good. Clutch slipped all the way. Got a few decent runs by babying it. Best time was 10.014. Oh well. It'll be better when I get a new clutch. Just makes room for more improvement. Lol

Thanks man. You should hear it when it WOT rofl. Hope you can make it to come see the car somewhere.
