Well I'm finising up my Talon, and I need to know if anyone has a diagram of the turbo set up. Its a 14B on a 2G set up. I don't really need a dagram exactly, but i didn't take apart everyting so I'm not sure where everything goes in the coolant/waterpipe Turbo Area. I found a descent diagram online, and my chilton manual diagrams are pathetic. Thanks.

You have one long line from the water neck to the oil filter housing, one line that runs from the block to the rear coolant line of the turbo and one the runs from the front of the turbo to the water pipe. I believe thats how the coolant lines run.

The turbo should only go in one way, like crash89 said. The exhaust is easy. The turbo piping is easy. The intake is easy. The oil is from the top edge of the head to turbo. Then turbo strait down to the oil pan.

Now, for the coolant lines

Now, the top and bottom is the oil intake, and return, respectively. The coolant line that you can see in the picture (facing towards the rad) is the one that gets connected to the water pipe. The side facing the block goes to the thermostat, or at least that's how they are ran on a 1G.

Hope this helped.

Should just be 4 lines and a vacuum line. Vacuum is for the wastegate. The top and bottom are oil. Top is feed from the head passanger corner, bottom is drain strait down with elbow bend to oil pan. The front and rear i explained earlier. Should be a piece of cake. If you need any other help, post it up.

Pictures help me a lot so ill try this.

Top port of turbo. Oil feed. Line goes from top of turbo to top side of cylinder head-passanger side

Bottom of turbWTFil drain. Line goes from bottom of turbo to elbow bent into oil pan side.

Coolant return line. This is the rear port of the turbo.

You all are talking about a 1g. A 2g connects to the block rrather than the thermostat.

I'm having an issue with my new 16g. Are both threaded ports on the front of the turbo, both the same. So could I flip flop the threaded plug from the bottom to the top and put my banjo on the bottome for my coolant line ? Having an issue with clearance

Your question is very unclear. There should be only one port on the front of the turbo if it's a MHI turbo. Without more information, and based on what you've said, I would caution you not to mix up oil and coolant ports. If you don't know what's what, do more research or ask, specifically, what you're missing.

It sounds like you're asking about the coolant ports on the front and back of the turbo. Those should be the same size, again, for a true MHI turbo.
