Its looking good. With the wire tuck the biggest eyesore in the engine bay as far as your brake system goes is the brake booster itself. Utilizing a delete kit that will also place the reservoir on top of the master will only help more. Talk about a DRASTIC change. The 2Gs are already overly crowded in that Driver side corner so it keeps the motor from having that "floating" illusion.
I deleted my brake booster but now I am fiddling with changing everything out completely so that the entire system is inside the cabin. Being an auto this means I will have nothing on my fire wall at all besides my an fittings for my boost gauge and nitrous lines as well as my quick disconnect when I find a decent deal.
8O <---- IS MY FACE RIGHT NOW! totally amazing work! more pictures please!!
I am a follower now! haha
this is the exact same idea that I've got but your at the extreme end of the stick.
I'm gonna watch this thread from now on. very good job on the engine bay too. I'm hoping mine will look this good too.
Wow! Speechless good job, that's pure sex When I start putting my car back together want to get a nice wire tuck thanks for the motivation
Edit: Got another follower
So you're not running power brakes? How is it?
I almost went out to the garage tonight, but then I wound up reading this thread. It is looking good.
pumping E85 again...
So you're not running power brakes? How is it?
it wasnt that easy man... i had to figure everything out my self.. there was no write up for a dsm on how to do a wire tuck, and my plan to do one failed because i didnt document enough while i was working at it.
Nope, no booster. I had a method for installing one but there's no point. Its like not having power steering, your car still steers fine doesn't it. Just takes a little more pedal pressure (some times) but coming to a regular stop is pretty close to normal. I quite enjoy the pedal feel.
There are quite a few, especially for 2Gs. I believe I'm the only one who has done a 1G one but 2Gs have more info than anyone, just gotta search.
Where you finding E85 here in Vegas???? I looked on several websites that show the registered E85 stations but all the ones I have gone to around the north side of town quit carrying it...
