IT should make it. Since it is e85, knock should be minimal. Make sure you change the oil after you return since you will be rich

It probably wont even start up good... mine ran like ass when i tried to drive it untuned

^^^^^ What he said........unless you've already been tuned on your 1000's before your switch to E-85 the car shouldn't want to run to well at all, let alone start......If the injector pulse width is anywhere near stock I'd just leave stock injectors in it drive it there, strap it down on the dyno, then swap injectors before the tuner gets into it.....

If you drive and it runs even half ways decent on 1000's you still run the risk of thinning down the viscosity of the oil because all that unburned fuel....which will still have a good percentage of it ending up in your crank case as vapor. The fuel vapor will mix and then compromise the oils ability to withstand pressure (which the bearings will be subjecting to the rotating assembly and the oil guards against) and heat resistance (which will also be compromised due to the fuel vapor having changed the actual properties of the oil)

Not to put the fear of God into you but I've seen spun bearings on the dyno from cars being driven long distances on a large un tuned fuel system and the oil usually comes out like water and smells overwhelmingly like fuel.......

I'd say play it safe and tow it in or swap injectors once you get there especially if the oil change isn't fresh......just a thought..

You have V3, I'm sure you can figure out how to base tune the injectors and MAF comp to get it to run.

I am planning to change the global/deadtime on link for the 1000cc and hoping with e85 would be safe. The 272 cams should be ok driving 45 miles away right? I am planning to change/top all fluids and fresh oil in before i go there.

You don't HAVE to tune for cams, you do ideally, but the car will run just fine without it. They affect airflow and airflow controls all of your maps.
