Hi guys I've been reading on the forum for probably the past 15 hours LOL. I am picking up my 1990 Laser RS Turbo next friday. It is a 5 speed. It has two bent valves because the timing belt was not changed like it should have been, snapped, and piston bi*** slapped the valves. The guy that owns it obviously doesn't know the worth of the engine itself as is because the car is f-ing amazing shape. The car was undercoated years ago and there is no rust ANYWHERE not even the slightest trace. The stock exhaust piping even shines still. Best part? $500 bucks. :)
I have a lot of DSM parts laying around thanks to a blown up 2g my roommate had. I have an injen intake, and an all custom intake mani that fits a 70mm 5.0 stang gt throttle body, a big 16g and some other odds and ends.

So hello from Ohio, I'm excited to say the least!

Awesome deal!!! Congrats and welcome to the forum!!

Welcome man. Glad to see you are reading. Keep it up because anything you might need to know you will be able to find on here. Good luck.

Thanks guys! I have an update. I brought her home last night and I got some pics. I know you've probably all seen thousands of 1gs but I figured id share anyway so you know the condition of my 500 dollar car hehe.

My phone died during the last post. I'm really surprised it even posted at all. Anyway- Pics.

And while I was trying to perform the removal of the diaphram in the boost control solenoid I broke off the nipple. I sure hope that doesn't set the tone for my ownership of this car. LOL.
Oh well, my guess is that it was probably the original vaccum line and after 21 years it was pretty well fried on there. Manual boost control it is!
