hey guys...i need some help with this problem im having...i had a small crash the other day and hit a curb on the passenger side of my car and busted a few parts...no big deal...wut getting to me is i have to jump the battery now to start it and as soon as i turn the car off the battery goes dead...it wasnt doing that until a few days after the crash...as soon as i got the car back to my house i turned the car on no problems at all...the only difference is i took my sound system out but they wires arent touching anything...any ideas? are there and grounds that might of got knocked loose on the side? i didnt notice anything...any help will be greatly appreciated...
 
Sounds like you have a parasitic draw on the battery. You can use a DVOM and connect it to the battery with the car off and see if there is any kind of draw on the battery. You will have to hook it up in series with the battery and have it on the amps setting not voltage. You will be looking for an obvious amperage draw on the battery.

If you see that there is an amperage draw, then you can start by pulling fuses one by one "make sure to note where each fuse goes and don't put any back until your done with the test". Do this until the draw goes away. This will tell you which ever system is responsible for causing the problem.
