I recently bought a 1990 GSX with 84000 miles on it from an old lady. when i got it clutch was to the floor her son who was a machanic said it was that slave cilender. they even had the part just not the time or space thir loss my gain. so installed the slave cilender and tryed to have someone pump and blead into the bottle like i read but the pedal never wanted to return on its own. been up late tryen to figure it out hopfuly someone can help me out there.

Make sure you bleed the clutch completely. There could still be some air in the line that can be causing it to fall.

Stupid question but no one else asked so I guess I will. Did you top off the resovoir before bleading?

Im replacing both my MC and SC with a new SS clutch line. My pedal sometimes gets stuck at the bottom and won't come back up. Figured might as well replace everything since it has 190k miles on the car.

Try bleeding it from the slave. The bottle trick is more difficult (my opinion). Make sure the reservoir is always full!! Bleed the crap out of it too, even small bubbles will gather and cause it to not function well.

Had the same problem with my 1994 Eclipse GS. Check under the hood and you will see a clutch fluid reservoir. Check the fluid level in the reservoir or check for a leak. It may be bad or the Clutch Master Cylinder may be gone.

gonna try to bleed again and check for leeks i know how to bleed the cluch who ever that was but. will also check clutch master. would a stock replacement be the way to go or is there a fair priced up grade.
