What you hate about your dsm

I hate black spyders with tan tops. What a stupid styling mistake... I also hate my spyder's previous owner.
 
I have a list..

I hate my loose door internals
I hate my 420A motor :(
I hate my Auto trans.
I hate my non working rear windshield wiper.
I hate my leaky sun roof
I hate my squeaky belt tensioner

BUT!!! all in all, i LOVE the car cause most of my hates ^ can be fixed.
 
i hate how i had to take off the fender to tighten the door hinges. I am seeing alot more if i hate post not too many i love my dsm. I hate the tight space to work in but i love my car to the end.
 
I hate my rattling window when its down in the door. (how do i fix this?)

I hate weak door handles that break in the winter.

I hate scraped under front bumper that turns yellow.

I hate no aux input on my stock 1999 head unit, but my friends 1993 dodge stealth stock head unit has an aux input...
 
I hate belt squeal that no matter what I do it always comes back, I hate interior rattle...prothane motor mounts and I hate how no Matter what seal I replace it always leaks something from somewhere.

I hate how it constantly sounds broken, or breaking - but it's really just fine.
 
I hate that rattle also. but i like that you did the opposite of mine. I also hate how the V dubs do a thumb down to me as im driving by. Pieces of shi*

well i hate how i have a v-DUB now and no longer own a dsm..

Wow that's a first. I feel totally opposite of that. I love the 1g dash setup, it's well designed for a modern race look. Kinda like an mk4 supra or 3000gt. Now the 2g interior is boring. It's the same as sebrings and avengers, atleast the 1g's didn't share interior setups with cars not offered with Awd and a 4g63

Never had a problem with the dual cup holders either, we should be so lucky to have them. Lots of other sports cars don't even have any.

so you like that fact that your dash is not shared with another car.. so that means you like the fact that if you ever need a new one, you'll never find it or someone can charge you whatever they want because they know you can get it ;) ..

2. i hate ball joints
3. i hate sqeaky belts
4. i hate t25 turbo
5. i hate 1gb design
6. i hate 2ga front bumper
7. i hate Mitsubishi for stopping the 2.0T line of the eclipse
8. i hate police for their hate for DSMs
9. i hate that my dsm friends come to me to fix their car and i own a vdub -_-

Wrong, because even though our dash's are very unique, there's always plenty of them in junkyards

And with what I've put into it, had I saved it, I probably could have put a pretty large down payment on one!

EDITED:
On a more vehicle based note/as of lately. I hate the active toe on the 1g awd, and I hate our camber/toe eccentric bolts that get seized in their bushing sleeves. All things that should be remedied on my car quite soon!

Woah there man..if anything the 2g interiors look more like mk4 supra interiors...those aren't all square :p
 
What bolts are you guys talking about breaking? The only bolts I've ever had break on my Galant are the ones in the front for the bodywork, every other bolt is in really good shape. Been in the NE it's whole life too.

I have had cold manifold to turbo bolts break..The bolts that hold the fender to the bumber break..The fender bolts break, especially the ones under the skirt..I had to cut one of the bolts on the top of the fender off, cause it would turn but not come out..

Other than that those are the only bolts I've ever had break..Everyone on the inside comes right out..I've never had to take off anything in the rear so I don't know if they would break(knock on wood)..

I know someone mentioned replacing one thing, and seeing another thing you have to replace that sux...
 
I hate to like it, I pass a lot of time working on it and I'm always putting money in to improve it. It's impossible to just drive it, I have to make it faster always!!!
 
Now...

- I hate that I have a leak in my power steering line

AND

- I hate that my exhaust manifold is now leaking

...I hate that my DSM is all kinds of messed up.
 
Breaking bolts just plain sucks. Came to the decision that once a year need to loosen and tighten them. Hate the fact that I have had the car since fall of last year and have not got it ready to drive yet. Hate that I had to take apart another DSM before I could start on the one I am going to drive.
 
The bleeding liver it gave me.
The fact that is not done yet.
FWD (not for long).
Empty wallet.
The lack of down a payment on a house.
The previous owner.
Cheap interior.
 
Cheap Mitsubishi clear coat and it's terrible turning radius.
