I hate allllll the discontinued oem parts!!! Wtf? I'm tired of turning wrenches in the junkyard! I also hate that my 1990 1g is year specific on sooooooo many parts, it reallly frustrates me that I can't bolt on parts from my 91-94 bretheren without modding! Grrrrrrrrr!! Hahahaaaa!! Ahhhhhhhh the life of a 1990 1g dsmer! Gotta love it..... I mean hate it..... as pertaining to this thread.

I hate the rust under the side skirts! If they were every to be taken off I can't even imagine the rust damage.

I actually hate the whole car in general. It's a nice car don't get me wrong, but everytime I look at it... I see one huge pile of money that probably could have been spent elsewhere. But it keeps the hubby happy, so who am I to complain. Hmph.

I hate that bills come before the turbo I need to even drive my dizzum! I hate the 95-96 years, will never get one those years again. Dislike like the sketchy/notchy transmissions, and I hate rod bearings. None of these even compare to a Honduh hatch though, PUKE.

I hate that its 2 hours worth of work from runing but I gotta wait 2 monthys before I can finish it due to shoulder surgery.

I'm in the same boat man, All I have left to do before I drive her again is adjust my clutch, tie-rods, upper ball joints and buy a battery for it; all of which I have money for but I'm getting surgery for a hernia on Thursday and don't have the time in-between and can't lift anything over 25lbs for two months after.

Other than what's posted above, I also hate my rattling windows, grey interior and GS Wheels.

I hate that you can't upgrade the car without spending additional money replacing something that you just found out was broken.

Example: Installing lowering springs and noticing that you have all blown struts. Installing a new turbo, you run into an overheating issue, and you need slimline fans/new radiator. Etc...

Story of my life these last few months.

Hate the fact that you take care of the bi***, wash it, wax it, detail it.

...and the next week she decides she needs a new tob and fork. :(

well my car has some sentimental value to it but so its hard to hate.. but i love the fact that i paid 750 for it. love the fact thats shes a 91 with no shocktower rust at all!! but i effin efiin efiin!!! hate the fact that when i started takeing off the front fender i broke almost all the bolts takeing it off.. and when i peeled back the sideskirt it was completely and i meen completely eroded away!! the guy i bought it from had it sitting in a grassy fied so the water from the grass was rubbing up on it for like 2 years! it might as well of been sitting in a 6 inch deep pond!! uugghhh soo aggrivated! but besides that i love my 3 dsms!!

I hate lifter tick, bad valve seals, pesky oil leaks, worn out syncros, how the clutch pedals on 1g's go bad after a while, how the stupid power steering pump is conveniently placed rite on top the alternator so it can fry it if it ever leaks, and how autozone or oreilly's doesn't show a foglight in their system for a galant vr4. And how our capacitors in our ecu's start leaking if we don't fix them, and how Mitsubishi never did a dam recall for freaking crankwalk, or how Mitsubishi dropped the Awd turbo eclipse platform altogether!

everything you said. and that i get home drunk,, look at my car and go on tuners....

I hate the dash in 1gs. I wish someone would make a conversion to make it a bit like the 2g dash. It looks to boxy and it's a total pain in the ass to have a drink in the car on long trips because the flip up in the center console gets in the way.

Wow that's a first. I feel totally opposite of that. I love the 1g dash setup, it's well designed for a modern race look. Kinda like an mk4 supra or 3000gt. Now the 2g interior is boring. It's the same as sebrings and avengers, atleast the 1g's didn't share interior setups with cars not offered with Awd and a 4g63

Never had a problem with the dual cup holders either, we should be so lucky to have them. Lots of other sports cars don't even have any.

That's true and I hate to say it but the dash set up I had in my 2000 Civic wasn't too bad with the cup holder placement and where the head unit went. Plus the tray under my head unit I put in was perfect for my phone or ipod (now I have an iPhone) so I could just throw it in there and not have to worry about it flying around.

I work at Wal-Mart so car breaks ins are really common so I have to hide all the stuff in my car. That little difference in the dash is extremely convenient. The stupid cord from my faceplate that I use to connect to my iphone is all messed up from having to bunch it up to throw it in either my glove box or my center console, even though it is only a 2 and a half inch cord. The only real problem I had with the Civic dash was the gauges were UGLY. But the center console felt very well placed and so did the shifter. Though I think the shifter on 1gs is also very well placed.

It's just the only thing I could think of that I didn't really like about my 1gROFL

Another think I love about the 1g interiors is that lil area on the driver door, i have an iphone too and it fits perfectly there. In other cars I usually don't have a place to hold my phone so I can either see or hear it when it rings, but that lil area on the driver door holds it perfectly

I hate my spyder with the top up. I love having a convertible when its down, but think the top really brings down the car with it up. That my car is fwd and I too hate worn syncros. But most of all....... more than anything..... I hate that DSMs are different than anything I have ever owned. I've been a car guy all my life and can build a small block with my eyes closed, but feel like a complete idiot when it comes to these. But I am learning. Slowly but surely, thanks to you guys. Really felt like an noob when I realized that my car doesn't like the plugs I put in it and they fouled out like crazy and got smoked by an f*'"$g Acura Integra on the interstate. But not to fear, got NGK bpr6es plugs on the way to me as we speak. But I still love my baby.
