Stole this idea from What you love about your dsm..I thought I would do the opposite..

I hate breaking old bolts..Sometimes I think Mits used organic bolts on these cars the more of them I break..

I hate that I can't find oem side skirts for my car..Unless I get them form a part out..

I hate my damn rattling windows every time i hit a bump or shut my door ( and yes i've done the 2g window rattle fix too)

I hate that rattle also. but i like that you did the opposite of mine. I also hate how the V dubs do a thumb down to me as im driving by. Pieces of shi*

Plain and simple I hate the freaking rust factor. If not for that I'd have a great gsx and my spyder wouldn't need some strut tower repair. Also I second the old bolt breaking problem.

I hate that some dumbass previous owner jacked it up on the drivers frame rail and bent it
I hate the rust on the door switches but that soon will be fixed

other than that i really dont care that it breaks thats just extra time away from the gf

The various interior rattles

I hate that the engine was designed with a timing belt instead of a chain. Also, the roof is so dang low on a 1G.

The price of 94 octane fuel she needs to get.

I hate idle surge/breaking bolts/always throwing money into it......

And for some reason i still love it.....

Mine just started idle surging.I don't hate it, It's just annoyong as shit..

ilco187 how could you hate that your car is awd?Also what wrong with the door switches..You mean window switches..Its an easy fix..

My car is even older than dsmtripp..And I have no rust on the strut towers..I hardly have any rust compared to many of the cars around here..And I'm in the rust belt..

I hate the fact its been down for 8 months

Hate the old bolts also.

I hate that mine is in pieces and I haven't got to drive it yet.

What bolts are you guys talking about breaking? The only bolts I've ever had break on my Galant are the ones in the front for the bodywork, every other bolt is in really good shape. Been in the NE it's whole life too.

I hate the gearing in a DSM. A WAY too short first and a way too tall fifth. It could go for a set of higher final gears for sure.

I second the premium that i have to put in. but gas prices shuld be going down soon. at least thats what they say. we shal see

I hate that the idiot that owned it before me abused it, didnt take care of it, and pulled the engine out of it.

I hate when I fix one thing and finally feel good about my DSM, something else comes up.

Example,

Head Gasket was blown and kept overheating, replaced it

Shifter cables snapped off, I replace it...

Coil Pack goes back so I'm running on 2 cylinders, I replace it

Got all the power a GS-T should have but now I learned I got a boost leak from intercooler pipes so I can't even remain steady over 60mph.

Oh, and I still need to flush my whole cooling system to top it off before another head gasket blows.

The person who had it before me did not give it the love she deserves.

FML!

Still love her though!

That I don't have 2nd gear.

That super irritating SCREECH everytime you start it up. Not pleasant at 4 in the morning. :\

Hates that it gets more attention than my girl.

Previous owner did some really shady repair before I got the spyder and gsx was drivin year around from that previous owner and northern NY thinks an inch thick layer of salt is required during the winter regardless of there being snow or not. Oddly enough the strut towers in the 95 gsx arnt bad at all even though the undercarriage is rotted. Also I will agree with gas prices that is if I were driving my spyder but its jackstand ballin' and the family subi is decent on gas.

The 2gs were prone to strut towers rusting never seen a 1g with rusty strut towers.

I hate the damn 1g lifter tap, Replaced with itm 3g lifters and after 1000 miles they tap now to worst than the stock lifters.
I hate that the idle has to be 1100 for it to want to idle sometimes because of having cams.
