well then if they make them you dont have to buy it, but i will if it looks right

after that keep your negativity to yourself

If a reverse hatch was made for either gen, but I think it would look best on a 1g. I would buy one hands down. they are awesome.

Import2ner.. I have one suggestion for you and one fact..Since your a dsmer now, there's no need for the import to be in you name. Look at the build site in your drivers side door frame... 2nd thing is the suggestion.. Punctuate before you become an in trouble probationary member..

haha just because you have a bunch of posts on a website doesn't mean a thing buddy.....im on my 4th dsm go act tough somewhere else

You guys have no idea who noobs are or not. "Wisemen" "proven members" are supposed to teach not to be dicks.

I tried to teach you two things as well but you don't want to listen you just want to get mouthy..And if your on your 4th dsm then you should know dsm's were only imported to japan and europe..But I think you need to re read the posting rules..

Tech forum rules.. Use proper grammar, spelling, capitalization, etc. No texting/instant messenger lingo..

But If you want to take the flaming and not using proper spelling..Go right ahead I'm not going to comment on it anymore..

have a nice life buddy, keep on posting nonsense

Grammar and punctuation is required and can get you suspended/banned just fyi. It would be nice to see the shift key used as well.

Anyway, the pic in the op's first post would look great on a 2g. Wingless with that hatch = the sex. Anything more then that would look terrible though.

I didn't ask any question on the origins of the DSM cars, thanks though. What my user name is shouldn't have any relevance to you. If you think I'm getting mouthy, then you're a quitter man then I am.

Exactly, a little lip would look amazing...other responders are imagining a whole 1ft high whale tail on the hatch.

I was gonna say it but I was hoping he would eventually realize he doesn't HAVE to buy one.

There was nothing wrong with the hatch you posted. That would look really good, especially on a spyder. But unfortunately nobody makes one for a DSM. On the other hand, the Porsche idea was just dumb.

*EDIT* You could ask this guy from the supporting freelancer section to make one for you. http://www.dsmtuners.com/classifieds/freelancer-products-services-10/custom-carbon-fiber-and-fiberglass-24172/

Personally, I would Love to find a way to integrate the wing into the body so it's seamless, rather than the stuck on look.

But then again, I wanna do a flat bottom mod on my car too. :p

Great suggestion, I PM'ed him. The Porsche suggestion was not mine I was merely clarifying what someone else was suggesting or perhaps they just were going off topic.

To further illustrate my idea, I found a great pic of a talon that I believe would make a great candidate for this type of hatch.

I always liked lip spoilers. The whale tale is a lil over the top. But the M3 style is a great idea. In my opinion would look really good on any 2G.

Were all on the same team guys. Bueaty is in the eye of the beholder.

The guy is from New York give him a break New Yorkers know everything....

Not really, that car is WAY too modified. Although I can appreciate the bodywork on the car was professionally done I feel it was tasteless. I like to keep things simple. Just an elegant Carbon fiber hatch with a slight CSL lip. I wonder how an OEM Carbon fiber high rise wing would look on top of this type of hatch..

agreed. i just remembered seeing the trunk and thought id throw it out there.

Please keep this thread on topic. I've had to clean it quite a bit for the OP.

+1 think that would be the best option besides having someone make it. :thumb:

Just got a reply from CFeclipse and he already has the BMW spoiler so he just needs to paste it into a trunk and make the mold...

Estimate price will be like $350.00-$380.00 first 10 trunks

My only hesitation just like most others is what it will actually look like when finished. PS would really help right now!

Much appreciated :thumb:

I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find 10 people on here that would be interested. You could start a thread in the hangout or something to gauge interest. That would get the ball rolling at least. Also you should post a request to PS it in the PS thread in the hangout.
