What exactly do I need to run a clean setup without problems?
This week I'm going out to buy:
16g Turbo
Front mount w/piping

...What else do I need? LOL I'm honestly clueless to turbos and whatnot. Im assuming I'll need bigger injectors to throw more fuel as I will have more air. I'm also assuming that I'll need a tune? (be very forward and lamen terms LOL as I'm new to dsm's) One of my buddies said The above purchase is all I need but I honestly doubt that.
Just a little extra side note- I dont care about being SUPER fast LOL Im happy with something that will blow most cars out of the water and embarrass them ;)

from what i hear you cna do the fuel filter mod and run lower end boost likt 10-15 psi and you wont hit fuel cut on stock injectors

You will need a j pipe to go with that front mount..Make sure your upper Intercooler pipe is flanged for the 1g bov..You can run the small 16g on a stock system without adding more fuel..But down the road if you want to run lets say 20psi you will need to upgrade the pump, get an Afpr, and something to tune with,dsmlink..Also if you get an ebay front mount you will need to mod somethings a bit to fit..But if you buy from a supporting vendor, all their stuff Should bolt right on..

As long as your car is not an auto I see no immediate problems you will run into..

This is what I'd recommend for a nice clean setup.

Evo 3 16g, punishment racing FMIC, Walbro 190lph fuel pump, 550 or 650cc injectors, SAFC or if your looking to spend a little more money DSMLink, hard intake pipe( from eBay) w/ a K&N filter, and exhaust.

Also you'd probably want to port the exhaust side of the 16g because they are known to creep. That would be ideal to up to 20ish psi.

And I also suggest following the upgrade path, very good info and that's why it's there.

Awesome thanks guys I really appreciate the quick response and hopefully I can have a nice setup soon! I'm excited!

I would recomend getting the dsmlink (which is a stand alone fuel management system like the computer that came in your car except that you can alter it to make it get the most out of your engine) and have a reptuble shope tune it when you geit all set u. A quality tune is what is best for no hassles and then u can upgrade later on and just have threm tune it again

^^^ Thumbs up all the way, same route i did pretty much, went with a FP evo3 16G, PR FMIC Kit, waiting for the 190lph and injectors as well as the SAFC NEO to come in :(, man that guy is dead on with my mods too LOL, but ya i went with ebay downpipe, ebay CBE, ebay external 02 dump, NXS MBC, uh i think NGR type s bov, cant remember what else haha, hope it works out for you

DSMLink would be nice, but if you are talking about running a simple 16G/Front Mount setup.

A MAF-T and A blow-through setup would be more than suitable.
