I just finished my clutch upgrade i went from a 2600 act to a 6 puck sprung act the issue im having is when im taking off in first evverything under the hood starts to violently shake like if my motor mounts were broke. but once up and rolling its fine any ideas is it the clutch and i just gottta change the way i take off. fyi this is taking off normal driving :hmm:

If everything is adjusted right, slave cylinder and rod. I would say that it is the new clutch. I know that a six puck is pretty harsh it's either in or out. It's usually not the smoothest on take off. That could be the difference.

yea, im still trying to get the whole rod adjustment thing going ive been having issue with that too. but thats i figured that its the clutch, it had me double checked every bolt i was thinking something was loose or i forgot something :aha:.....hopefully thats it ive tried to read on all the adjustment guides and evevn saw that video on youtube and its not that easy.

I agree. How is the engagement? How far is the pedal off the floor when the clutch begins to engage?

its about halfway where i think should be but just doesnt feel right. and if i adjust the rod some more it gets better but the thing is after driving it makes the clutch grab all the way up like if it was burned. so im thinking i have to bleed it some more. the slave and master are brand new. this whole adjustment part of it has always kick my butt. my first gen the same thing was going on and i just gave up and brought to shop to have it done. I almost to the same point LOL

I had the same clutch act 2600 heavy duty 6 puck sprung, and I was having the same issues and I mean the shake was BAD getting into first or reverse. Changed to a street disk, Car is just fine now.

so ive been doing alot of asking around about this issue pretty much is the price you pay when you want a real clutch the only way to make it stop shaking is by slipping the clutch out about 3500 rpm yes that high... so its just the clutch being a badass LOL thanxs everyone and i hope this helps someone in need LOL:hellyeah:

Try to fix it up or bring it to some good phoenix auto repair shops in order to have the remedy on that one. I hope that you would take consider of it in order to make your ride safe and sound. A lot bigger problem will occur if you would just set aside that one and see that things would act up very wrong in order to really see the real problem there.
