Not sure when it happened but I see AMS no longer supports the DSM crowd anymore. I went to their website and found they no longer have a tab for us. I say we vote them off this island.

It's all about the Evo's now.....which are supposedly now dead after the X.

AMS is an Evo based company. Sadly, the market for DSM's isn't what it used to be, and there isn't much money in product development. I was shocked when magnus came out with the v3 manifold, as that was a lot of R and D for 1g DSM's.

DSM's are getting old, sadly we must realize that people wont make parts for us someday.

because they had everything more expensive than other vendors hahaha.

Well that sucks and hope some companies stick around for awhile.

Well I guess they wont be getting any more money from me. I'm all about dsm ' and my VR4. They can have their Evos.

That sucks, but maybe I can get my balance shaft elim. kit without spending a fortune!

damnnn, that sucks !!!! atleast the 2 parts I'm interested in buying from them in the near future, they still have it, since its for all 4G63T engines...

You and me both. I was about to order one this weekend too. Hopefully they have a few left in stock.....

I was on there last night and noticed the DSM tab was gone :/

If you type in DSM you can still get some injectors

honda civics are old and the have a crapload of stuff for them.but everybody is right dsms are becoming a thing of the past.nothin wrong with an evo in my book.

There is def nothing wrong with an evo but I wouldn't count dsm's as a thing of the past.

The problem is we have a 'replacement' to dsm's

The only replacement for a honda is another honda

I hate to be "debbie downer" here.

Thats business. As much as I hated seeing all these big names cater to evos, thats where the money is. There are sooo many evo guys that will walk into one of those shops and dump 5k in shit. No dsmer will do that. We like to shop around, look for the best deal, then some dsmers, go for the cheapest, most ghetto rigged setups out there.

All in all, its just business. I see the same going on at Buschurs too. The evo guys have more money, most, me, I am still a dsmer, that can afford an evo for now. Thats something I really hate about evos. The price of products for evos are double the price for the same product for a dsm.

Alot of my shirts that I wear are from AMS too! I noticed this earlier when going to their site. I guess it's time to rock others! I'm still waiting on my STM shirt to come in!

And the Evo isn't dead anymore, atleast I mean they are now continueing the line.

It's partly the fault the this community to be honest with you. Everyone would rather buy everything cheap off ebay and whatnot then pay for products that actually have R&D behind them. Some of the Ebay products have been very good on our cars, but you can't expect a company like AMS to sink tons of money into making products for these cars when people in this community can't afford them for whatever reason. Some people are total cheap asses, and some people just don't make enough money to afford their parts, so they probably just figured why waste time and money making the parts. I like AMS great guys, great parts, but when I think of DSM shops, they don't usually come to mind anyway. Either way I thank them for atleast sticking it out this long while others bailed years ago.

DSM'ers like china parts. AMS sells mostly high end handcrafted parts. There is absolutely NO market for them to sell their DSM parts.

Dont worry people soon evo's will be cheap enough for the cheap asses to buy and abuse.

Its gonna be awhile . I see 03 evos with 100k miles still going for 12k all the time.

Not to say, there arent the cheap ones being sold here and there.

they are talking about making the evo hybrid..... anyway goto Mapeformance they got all you need for a dsm!

I definitaly dont think dsm's are over. They definitaly are not as popular or big as before. I blame this on a lot of things. Partially the internet. It takes away a lot of the fun, work, and determination of building a car. Now you just take an idea of what your looking for and find someone with a similar setup and duplicate it. Sure this doesnt apply to everyone but its the main concept. But like I said the DSM's are not as big but there are still so many cars, parts, and accessories out there to keep us afloat for a long time. Another thing that kinda irritates me is young people, yes I realize thats my category, typically grab these cars and dont understand matienence, repairs, or tuning. Usually it leads to a car thats toast afterwards. Im sorry if I offended anyone I just had to get that out.

Well, when you have someone like magnus to compare ams to, yeah i'd ###### give up too.
