Plus you probably don't need more pump than a wally anyway.

Other cars haven't experienced any issues with this pump so I wouldn't cling to your guns and Walbro so quickly.
How quickly everyone forgot about the MASS issue Walbro had with the 169 pumps in which they didn't pump over 58psi and didn't issue a mass recall or warn customers until it was WAY too late. Literally pulled THEIR pumps off the shelves but allowed shops to sell them to customers.
So how may lbs/min this pump supports at 30 psi? assuming 43.5 fuel pressure
Depends on the injector size, AFR, fuel filter flow, line restrictions, etc. etc. etc..
People have made over 620 awhp on E85 with one though. (Kyle's car at MAP is over 600, as mentioned in first post).
They flow crazy numbers at higher voltages though.
I can't decide if I want to get this one or the new aeromotive 340 pump there flow graphs are almost the exact same at 75-90 psi but the aeromotive 340 pump flows better at low psi even though that really doesn't mater its the 75-90 psi that the 255 dies at.
Just installed the pump after arriving today from MAPerformance. Great service and fast/free shipping.
Couple notes:
1. The electrical connection on the pump is molded too small. Tried 3 different connectors that I've accumulated over the years from Walbro installs and none of them go all the way on...the tab doesn't click. Applied enough force so it is a press fit, I don't think it will be coming loose.
2. Install kit didn't come with the lower o-ring spacer. I had extra ones again from past installs, so a non issue for me.
I did not know that about the Walbro 255lph. I would rather have far too much fuel that slightly not enough fuel. I cannot afford to have another *kaboom* hit my bank account.
Hmm, these are quite troubling since the kit is supposed to make this a drop-in. Can we get someone from MAPerformance to respond to these issues?
I have the pump with the 2g install kit. I can't verify the connector issue since you can't until you take the old pump out, and I don't recall what o-ring spacer he's talking about as I installed a walbro about 9 years ago
I guess that a modded 255 will flow about the same as the DW300 and the aeromotive 340 but I would rather just buy one that is made to flow that much not forced to
Did you miss the part about the massive amount of testing that has been performed clocked in over 3K hours.
