So I found a 2006 Evo MR, charcoal, with 98,000 miles on it for about $19,000.00

should I go for this or just lay off and wait for something else?

thanks for all the advice!

That's just a lot of miles to be ragged on. Evos get driven...

I'm an Evo 9 MR owner heh. Once you get one you'll be very very happy :)

Yea pass. OHhh, BTW I actually called on the EXACT car (you found it on autotrader?), they sold it almost 2 weeks ago.

2005 Mitz Evo VIII MR

and its modded i dont know what was done to the other one but this has mods and way less miles and its the same price.

That's one thing that has always irked me about craigslist, who puts a car up for sale with no pictures? Do these people not realize that you get twice (if not more) the responses if you post pictures

If you are really looking for an Evo, join evolutionm.net. I used to be on there more when I was modding my evo and people sell their evo's cheaper there than anywhere I have seen. Ex: 2006 Evo with 22K miles for $20,000. Just an option if you are looking.

PASS!!!

I got my evo 9 for 22700 in December. 60k miles on it, and this mod list.

2006 Evo 9 SSL, HTA green, Precision 1000cc inj, Buschur exhaust, Ported intake mani, ported exhaust mani, Map o2 housing with dump, Exedy twin disc, GSC S2 cams, Beehive springs, Wally 255, Turboxs intercooler, Ets lower pipe, Muse short route upper pipe, STM intake pipe, Vibrant filter, Evo IX bov, SpoolinUp COP,

Tuned at 31psi, 431whp/392ft lbs on e85

Way better deals to be had out there. AS said before, evom is the place to look for an evo. Screw dealerships and their high mileage overpriced cars! That car if its exceptionally clean, is worth maybe 16k with that mileage, it would have to be squeaky clean!
