can you post a pic of what it will actually look like in the car

im just trying to figure out how much room i have between the plastic around the rear shock towers

the box i showed you takes up the whole hatch area and sits about 6 ins from the top of the molding trim

looks like it would fit good if you can find a way to hide your amp and capacitor, this way you would be left with some trunk space, when i did mine i set my amp and capacitor up on the back of the rear seat, "drivers side" and have my sub in a box in front of them, looks great and still leave plenty of trunk space.

take out the back seats! haha. leaves lots of trunk space.

I have the box you originally posted. Its .5" mdf in the front if I recall correctly and the premade holes are kind of large. When I had my subs installed only 3 of the 6 screws actually went into the box, so they ended up pulling out after some time. I ended up pulling the fabric off and making my own custom front with 3/4" mdf and custom holes so my subs fit in snugly. I also added some wood inside to meet the subs specs. In the end you get what you pay for. Its a pretty nice box. I can try and get you some pictures at some point. I was quoted at I think close to $500 to have my local shop make pretty much the same box from scratch. With the new front plate I've had no problems and still have plenty of room left in the trunk. I'd recommend it, but maybe see if you can have them do .75" mdf for where the subs are mounted and maybe even leave the holes for you to cut.

Oh and the way the box is shaped there is room to put the amp under the box (sticks out a few inches depending on your amp) so it doesnt have to be out on the floor of the trunk. You can also keep the flap so nobody walking by can see your equipment and bust in the back window. The only problem with it is with the box in place you can't access the spare tire.

A problem you may run into is that the n/t models have a different trunk floor. The N/T's have a lower trunk floor and have that hump in the front of the trunk that may cause it to fall over all of the time.

Here is my setup. It's simple, clean, and I still have plenty of trunk space.

Not a problem at all, box is designed to rest on that ledge, and thats what I was talking about with the amp underneath. The front plate extends down onto the actual trunk floor. Mine has not fallen over and never will because the subs are so heavy they would never tip. And our cars can't launch anywhere near quick enough to flip the box. Not an issue at all.

Turbo 2Gs didn't have that "step" right behind the seat in between the wheels?
