i put a new head on my car because it jumped time on me,so i got a new one i took out the balance shafts, took off all the emissions stuff all the vac lines, but i think i need a vac line diagam. put it all together it stared run good had a ruff ideal drove it the next day drove good didnt have the power it should of had but pulled it self, i got home and thought it would run better if i pluged the rest of the vac line holes and every since then i hardly will pull its self and runs like shit any ideas and thank you guys :)

Are you sure that your timing is set correctly?

And maybe you should give us a little more detail (with pics if possible) of what you did to your vacuum lines.

There are plenty of vacuum hoses you do need and defiaNtly check your timing. I had the same issue with my first timing belt job.

idk if yours is turbo, but i cant think of anything that would be affected by vaccuum line. Except a slightly small hardly noticable hi idle, a big one would be ## brake booster.

i found out it was my sparkplug wire getting chewed by the cam gear,i fixed that nd it ran alot better it just still doesnt run like it shoud,it runs like there is a cylinder out the timing is right i checked it, im so lost on this one. thanks for heleping me every one :thumb:

You need to be more specific on the power thing. Describe what happens in detail.

well today i tryed going up a hill and it would not let me go past 2,000 rpm it wouldnt let me go over 15 mph couldnt get out of first gear it would pretty much dies if i got out of first even if the gas pedle was to the floor. so after i got home i gave the car a compression test on all 4 it gets 120 at this time its still running like crap,so i pulled off number1 plug wire stared to die put it back on pulled number2 the motor ran the same pulled number 3 motor ran the same put them two back on there and pulled number 4 off it ran a little ruff, so im thinking i need a new coil pack or a new computer thoes two middle wires are getting some spark its just really really weak

it could be alot of things that went wrong. double check all the work tha you did including the timing. you don't want to drive the car with wrong timing. also check your turbo, my car was running with no power when i notice that I lost my "PSHHH" sound.

Ya the turbo coulda crapped on you. Bought my GSX from a member on here and drove it back from atlanta to the middle of alabama @ 20mph. The turbo was shot and dumping oil directly into my IC under any condition above -15 HG/IN.
