Ive searched and apparently no one other than me needs step by step instructions. :hellyeah:

I have a Palm Vx with MMCD installed from West Coast DSM.Basically, i need to know what im supposed to do after i plug the three wire cable into the diagnostic port.

Do i plug the three wire cable into the diag. port and push the MMCD icon?Or do i hook up the cable and hit the hot sync icon?I have no idea what im doing.

I had a couple bent exhaust valves, and since being repared my idle is goes up to 2300 RPM's at start up.Belt squeal really bad when i first start driving my tsi.Id like to hook up the logger and see if i can find out whats going on if possible, before i start throwing money at random parts.

Basically, i need instruction on which buttons to push when LOL.Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

make sure the throttle stop switch is plugged in. It is the single wire with female spade goes on the top of the throttle body.

I read this reply and was like no way...couldnt be that easy.I picked it up from the
shop and the shop that did my head work couldnt figure it out either.I went to get it and they said that my ECU was doing all kinds of crazy stuff and they couldnt adj. the idle.

I asked if there was a CEL..he said no.So i assumed no CEL meant it was idle air control sensor.

I went out after reading Spln_Hrd's reply, and sure enough they must have forgot to plug the throttle stop switch back in.Awesome man thank you very much! :hellyeah:

Now my idle is sitting at about 900RPMs with the biss screw all the way turned down.Is this where i should be at idle wise?

I thought my car was going to die when i plugged that wire in but i must just be so used to the idle being at 2000RPMs LOL.

Yeah its a lot better than it was but its still surging a bit after driving around.Surging to 1400-1500 RPMs...then dropping to 900-1000 RPMs after a couple seconds. She's still surging back up to 13-1400 RPM's at red lights.Going to have to go through that list and see if anything helps.Deffinately better than it was though.

I replaced my ISC switch an now my car surges between 1400-1500. Mines an auto an only does so in park. Any ideas?
