What are the differences in a 7 bolt crank between the 95-97 engines, and the 98+ split thrust bearing engines?

I have two blocks, one is an Evo3 block, and one is a 98 block. I'm rebuilding the motor, and both need a new crank. I'd prefer to use the 98 block, and found a crank from a 96 block. I basically wanted to know if there were differences in the two cranks or if they used the same design?
