First of all, yes i did search, and no i couldnt find a thread with a similar problem.
Its pretty simple, when i make a left turn at speed (over 10 mph) and try to give it gas it bucks and looses power, untill the car straightens out or i slow down enough.
When i make a right turn nothing bad happens, i can take it as fast as i want even slide it and i will not have this problem.

Im assuming something is wrong inside the gas tank? any ideas??

#1 - Yes the less gas i have the slower i have to take the left turn for it NOT to do this. The more gas i have the faster i can take the turn without it completely losing power and bucking. If i am almost on empty and try to accelerate in a straight line to quickly it will do it also.

#2 - I have done a boost leak test, i found 1 very minor leak and fixed it, and it didnt change anything.

It is because when you take a left turn the gas goes to the right side of the tank, away from the fuel pump. So your pump is just trying to suck up nothing because all the gas is at the wrong end of the tank.

That is what i figured, but why? i have driven many DSM's that dont do this. There has to be something wrong.

^^^^^That. Although I would lean more towards the baffles then I would a failing pump. The pump wouldn't do it just when you turn.

Did this start after you pulled the pump out recently, or has it always done it, or did it just start for no reason?

Always done it. but its really getting on my nerves, does anyone know where i can get a pic of the inside of the tank? so i cant see where these baffles are supposed to be.

I did discover however, that the sock at the bottom of the pump has fallen off and is somewhere in the bottom of my tank, i didnt have time to fish it out but would the sock not being on the pump cause this?

Actually, yes, it can cause the issue at hand.

How so? if you dont mind me asking.

Well i have a walbro 255 with assembly on the way, so if i install it with the new sock and the problem is still there how would i go about fixing the baffles? or should i just replace the tank?

I know its been a while and i have the 255 and rewire, but i dont want to install it without an AFPR and im broke for a bit because of medical bills from a knee injury i got 2 weeks ago.

But does anyone know where i might be able to get a pic or even diagram of the inside of the tank? I want to know more about these baffles.
