Hopefully no short notice for everyone, but It actually may go down this weekend. I will ahve the check tomorow so if I can work with the vendors to see what prices I can get for some fast shipping we can do it this weekend.

Dont rush shipping it will actually come out more expensive that u want it to b depending if u buy parts from different vendors unless they do a deal i think but imo id rather let it take a week to get here and get no charge on shipping

I hear ya, but this is my DD (atm it isnt, but it is supposed to be ) and I need it done soon. I would wait anothe week, but rides are slim to none sometiems and I cant risk not making it to school on my own or needign to go somehwere important. It is only going to cost me 70 extra total to get everything I need shipped from 5 different vendors to get here by saturday.

So the plan is saturday guys! Bring your A-game and pizza money and beer. i got some pizza coupons too to lighten the load adn get some good deals. So far there should be 6 or 7 of us attending. I am now announcing final role call for the meet. Please say if yoru going to make it or not. I want to get started saturday morning kinda early. Let me know!!

We sprayed the 1g today with clear, so I should have all the paint/body shit out of the way by tomorrow or the next day. I'll definetly have plenty of room for your car in the garage for whatever weather arises, and there is plenty of parking for whoever wants to come. Jesse you have my address so you can feel free to give it to anybody who wants to stop by, otherwise anybody who wants the address just shoot me a PM. Also, granted if everything goes to plan with the blue car, if anybody has a few minor things on their car they want done (seafoam, plugs/tune up, ect) we can try to do these as well, I have plenty of tools.

New to the forum but I would of totally been down to help on a timing belt if my head gasket didnt prematurally take a dump on me sad thing was it was an hks hg so im think im just going back to an oem gasket this time around seems to hold alot better with my current setup, but in the future im always free on the weekends for pretty much anything. I think its time to just start building the bare 6bolt thats been sitting in my garage for 3 months .

Make your way up to dysart n McDowell n ride wit me. Or if someone is passing by or wouldn't mind getting you you can still come. Anybody?

ill see if my buddy i work with that owns a 1g would be willing, cause we get to do his timing belt in about 8 more k just dont buy the timing tensioner tool you can use the long bolt on the ac bracket as your tensioner as long as its not bent. its the right length and the perfect size as well. call me cheap i know but thats what i used on my 1g

Its almost done just need the t.belt and turbo oh and injectors hope fully i don't have a problem because i had put my cams in n my exhaust would turn fine but i had a prob with the intake three valves wouldnt move so i took it off then put it back on so well see when i go to rotate the crank after the timing belt is on and hopefully shell be runing

Haha, there is 3 that live in my complex (including me). I usually see bout 4 on the way to school. And bout 8 at school. Anyway, good to here your coming Greg. So far that is 6 DSM's in an area!! This may be a good turn out.

dont put it on the stock spot, have it welded down farther.
