For me I'd have to say my 5 dollar ebay MBC that hasn't leaked at all even at 30 psi... that was 5 dollars SHIPPED!

I recently bought a intake from almostquick, and put it on today. The spool up time over the stock intake is pretty noticeable sure it may not be a lot but hell for 15 bucks for the intake and 10 for shipping I'm not complaining. My car sounds a bit deeper and the BOV is a hell of a lot louder too. I even managed to keep my K&N filter, but just barely

Solid shifter bushings, make a world of difference.
They can be picked up on ebay, dirt cheap.

The brass shifter bushings were definately my best cheap mod, I also got the Energy Suspension shifter base bushings too which were cheap

removed my cat.. it gained some power

But I have scored a few good deals for less than or equal to $50.
-Evo 9 Fuel Pump
-Knock-off coolant hoses that showed up looking exactly like Samco ones. I can't find any differences.
-Made my own 3" Intake MAF-less intake.
-140 amp alternator
-Evo 8 valve springs and retainers
-A ton of 4 ga Tsunami wire from Circuit City when they closed.

It's a company in Taiwan, so it's more than likely a knock off. I did have to trim a few hoses shorter, and I don't know if Samco hoses are like that or not.

I think one of the vendors on here sells an 11 piece coolant hose kit that is strikingly similar, but I can't remember which one.

Can you find a link to the exact hood struts you have? I have seen a few different ones and don't want to get the wrong ones.
