So I was driving and then I downshift before getting on the freeway and got to about 5,000 rpm and went to about 6,500 rpm and shifted and then it started hesitating so I slowed down and then my boost gauge stayed at 12psi even when I slow down and it was misfiring and then started drinking ALOT of gas. So I figure it was my spark plugs. So I put new spark plugs and started it and drove it again. It will get to about 3,500 rpm and hesitates so im forced to shift and then when I got to a redlight, it idles up and down 2,000 to 500 rpm. If anyone would happen to know what it could be, please tell me. Thanks.

Idk about the boost issue maybe the gauge went crappy because its its staying at 12 something isn't right.are you referring to the stock boost gauge? If so maybe your Ecu somehow got fried...also the idle issue sounds like a bad isc but could also be acting wierd due to a bad Ecu..good luck

Are you talking about your dash boost gauge? If u are, has your ecu ever been rebuilt or replaced with new? Sounds like your computer might be dying.

I've seen ecu failure cause the car to fall on its face around 4k and the boost gauge to stop working completely.

Well I see I second the ecu failure!

the ecu is brand new. The dash boost gauge is what im talking about. Some people say I have a huge vaccum leak and some say my TPS is bad, I think it's an air problem but im not for sure

Sounds like an ecu problem. Take the ecu out and take the cover off, and smell it. If it smells fishy or there are any burn marks it fried and you need to get a refund from wherever you bought the part.

The idle sounds like a bad isc but could be the Ecu acting wierd. There's something on here that shows how to test the isc.but that shouldn't cause the cutting out just the surging idle
