What current Meth Injection Kit out for sale is the best one to purchase? And Is It really worth doing Meth Injection to make power?

Which of these is the better and more reliable one?
And what does Meth Improve or do?
 
im using the aem kit. i think any of the more name brand ones will work about the same. heres my question tho. whats better? injecting in the intercooler pipe before the throtle body? or direct port, individual placed in each runner?

i hear the arrgument go both ways. some say put it in the upper IC pipe so the water in the mix will have time to evaperate and cool the intake air temp. others say put one in each runner of the intake and make the water/meth mix extra spicy.

the meth thats mixed in with the water has a cerrtain amount of octane value to burn just like gas does. so if theres alot of octane to the meth/water mix couldnt it be used to "duplicate" a extra pair of fuel injetors if you had individual meth nozzels?
 
I use the Devils Own universal stage 1 kit. It taps into your washer fluid reservoir and I personally run a DO10 nozzle right before the elbow attaching to my throttle body (it's a coupler). I run 31% by weight methanol windshield washer fluid (-20* fluid). Works awesome after you tune for it.

Without tuning you would want a smaller nozzle to prevent running too rich and bogging out.

All kits out there are the same. It's a high output pump, line, and a nozzle. Some kits give you extras when you really don't need. The stock tank has a built in low level sensor and if you use ECMLink you can have your CEL pop on with x amount of timing pull from knock. That's all the warning I need.

Is it hard to tune your car for meth? I have not even started my car up since I put the built head on it and all the aftermarket bolts on, and my 50 trim. I have not even tuned it in the first place without meth? Whats the difference in tuning without meth and with? I need lots of help understanding this I can see! haha!
 
Read over the provided links and consider joining a forum on meth injection. Both snow performance and devils own have a forum.

It's not too difficult. You just need to pull fuel from your tables as meth is a fuel. If you spray too much then your AFR will be very low causing bogging. Do a simple tune without using the MeHo injection so things will be simpler for you. To learn what's going on with all of your parts and the tune houbara going to work with.
 
So its really not that hard? i will have it running and using link before i even buy the meth kit so I suppose just tune it like that before I get meth kit? And does meth actually add hp?
 
Meth contols detonation/knock and both water and the alky will both cool the air charge and cylinder temps. It allows you to increase psi and add timing which give you the boost in power.

I don't have any experience with other brands, but back when I had my 1990 Eagle Talon TSi, I had a universal DevlisOwn progressive kit. it was a solid kit, but they did ship me the wrong kit (a Neon SRT4 kit) and had me split the difference for whatever extra stuff it came with since I didn't want to wait to ship it back...
they're also a board sponsor if that helps persuade you one way or another.

yes, although for a daily driver, you might want to consider it more as a safety net... tune aggressive without meth/alcohol/water injection, then get a cheap, smaller meth/alcohol/water injection kit and have it kick in at around 2/3 boost. that way a tank of bad gas, a hot summer day, etc. won't introduce head gasket-destroying knock and power-crippling timing retardation... that's my plan with the current build as it's cheaper and easier (albeit with less power) than setting up and tuning a full-on progressive alcohol injection setup.
