this talon i bought has a chip in it from ecmtuning. it says its setup for a 10.5:1 open loop afr. Does that mean that its only 10.5:1 when its WOT?

When you go WOT closed loop is enabled. If you look at the direct access table it will show a whole grid of AFRs based on load and RPM. Depending on where you are at on the table determines which active cell you will be in. The number is also what the ECU is aiming to achieve for an AFR
Ill try to get a picture tomorrow. I would say its probably a burnt chip. But anyways back to my question....does 10.5:1open loop mean its still 14.7 when cruising around and switches to 10.5 at WOT?
I was wondering if 10.5:1 would be to much since my car is pretty much stock. I dont want it to hurt cylinder walls by getting to much fuel. I plan on getting a dsmlink soon, that's if I can figure out why im pushing coolant out first.
Yes, 10.5 is leaned out a bit from the stock map. It seems a lot of people will shoot from 10.8 - 11.5 for a tuned AFR.
